I just tried it out on GI, so this may be because of the RoF bonus, but...

It has two round per clip, but you can fire 3 if you can click the mouse fast enough.  This also does not use up a third round from your spare ammo.

Also, though probably not a bug, the pellet spread is pretty much the same with every shot, and with its predictable recoil and with accuracy bonuses this shotgun is WAY more accurate than advertised.
