Still I find it highly unlikely (though not out of the realm of possibility), considering the urgency of the mission versus 'the agents of chaos' which will happen deep in the heart of Orlais itself for the protagonist to venture outside of Orlais, with Ferelden an exception (as one location was in the list).

In a year's time, when DAI proved to have areas that they spoke of, then I hold my hands up and concede that I was wrong for trusting too much on the finality of this leak I received. If not, then I will be sure to make it known that teasing us with big statements that eventually turned out to be untrue is not cool at all.

In all seriousness, the trailer did little to provide actual, factual information. Instead it provided a lot of hints, teasers, and questions. Which is great, in my opinion, but doesn't really help my thread much.

Nothing new from Blair.
This seems to be a good thread to maintain.
Can we presume the new lead writer and lead animator Bioware are trying to hire have nothing to do with DAI but will be working on other projects.
This Gears of War guy they hired for ME4 can we presume he won't help with DAI.
Although some ME staff do cross over to assist on DA games apparently and vice versa.

I have to say that despite my lack of belief in BioWare "sources" this seems right to me. Since that panel that showed the possible map for Inquisition we've had an almost exclusive focus on Orlais as a setting.

1. Going somewhere "French"
2. A novel set exclusively in Orlais that will revolve around it's leader.
3. The trailer had Cassandra and the Inquisition/loyalist Seekers around a map of Orlais

I know they said the map would be twice as big as Ferelden, but given that the landmass of Orlais is twice as big as Ferelden it fits. I think we might get to step into Orlais and a piece of Ferelden and Tevinter.

I don't believe the source either.  Orlais is part of the next game yes but they showed other locations outside of Orlais LAST YEAR at one of the cons.    It was on an overhead projector. I think people even posted screenshots that are still on the forum if anybody is willing to search.  I believe Orlais is one part of the game but NOT the whole game.

I can't wait for this dragon game, but most of what I hear from a friend that works in the game industry. Is that dragon age then 3 is only coming out on xbox one. I like the dragon age series to be on xbox 360; because all my save files is on that system. Plus I understand that to sell the xbox one the games that  comes in a series are being use to sell it. Halo is an example. So I have heard many rumors on the system, but am hoping the dragon age 3 will be on all system. But really want it to be on xbox 360.

Very good to have this information, thank you. I know the Dragon Age team will make a great DA3. With the information so far it looks good.

I thought the elves in DA2 looked great with the big pointy ears, sad to see it go. Who knows, maybe it will look better. I am a bit let down with knowing we won't be able to choose a race. I really thought we'd be seeing at least what DA1 offered with elves and dwarves.again. I guess we can appreciate at least having them in the game.

Overall, looking forward to DA3.
