Ending of Metal Gear Solid 4.

While I was mostly ****ing about the game being a bit too much of a fanservice, the ending was still epic. I shed manly tears.

for western games, first thing that came to my mind is Baldur's Gate 2 - Minsc's ending. oh gosh, it's been several years, but I remember the first time I beat BG2 and read Minsic's ending, I just can not hold my tears.

Also tears were shed for Mordin's death in Mass Effect 3. after BG2, ME3 is the first English Language game that can touch my heart so deep.

The Death of Lavitiz he was a true bro and soldier yo.

Death of Aeris the very first time as I was fearful I lost my only healer lulz, after that her death served as a warning to give Vincent the fire proof ring, then let him go monster on the boss.

And lastly

The ending of Mass Effect 3

Because of all the money that I wasted on the series and that god awful last title

Trolololol.

Grunts, fake out death had me weeping like little girl, hen he walks out I actually threw my controller across room and jumped off couch LOL. And the Charr thing I ignore in all walkthroughs now, he lives in my head-cannon.

In Resident Evil Code Veronica, when Steve dies, wasn't in tears but was sad.

When Piers sacrificed himself, was not expecting that. Like Kobayshi said, not cry-worthy, but sad. Especially all the **** chris has been through.

I admit, I teared up a bit hearing about Crying Wolf's story in MGS4. Ironic, I know.

What are some video games or video game moments that actually made you feel a little teary eyed or at the very least you feel executed an emotional part of the story well?

Mother 3 - The Final Boss.
Heavy Rain - The Murderer Reveal, pretty much any of the sad endings.
Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask - End of the Anju/Kafei Quest.
The Darkness - The Jenny Scene.
Metal Gear Solid 4 - The End after the 30 minute-long cinematic.
Planescape: Torment - Spoilers Talking with Ravel, Meeting your Incarnations, and the Transcendent One, etc.
Mass Effect 1 - Virmire.
Mass Effect 2 - Suicide Mission
Mass Effect 3 - Mordin & Wrex if you choose genophage sabotage.

A few moments in FFXIII and XIII-2

The end credits montage for Mario 64. Idk why, but when I was a young lad that made me cry nostalgia tears. Like I had just completely like the most epic quest ever.

The ending of Persona 3. I'll avoid spoilers here as anyone who hasn't played this game best give it a try if they can. That was very bittersweet.

Actually teary-eyed? Never I think. Guess I must be dead inside. :(

Probably came close though that one time in BG2 when I lost all my gold due to a wild magic surge. The horror.

Many moments in MGS history(Sniper Wolf death,Meryl in Otacon's ending,Emma, The Boss and of course the epilogue of MGS4)
Mass Effect 2 and 3(mostly towards the end although all throughout ME3 there are moments that get me going such as leaving earth and Thessia)
Bioshock 2(The start:crying:)

And ther others too, to many to list. It's usually the excellent voice acting and music that does it to me

In DA:O, The last answer from Teyrn Loghain to his daughter during the Landsmeet (in the case where the warden choose to make him die) is maybe what could be called "ham-fisted", but it worked very well for me.

I don't know if it was an intention of the writers, but the Sten's nightmare in the Fade made me feel very sad for him. Since I knew nothing of the qunari's way of life, I imagined the two (rather silly) other kossith warriors could actually have been his children...
I found also all his 'homesickness' emotionally moving (considering that in my 'headcanon' the two warriors who could have been his sons, perhaps had a mother waiting for them in their homeland...)

The whole story of NWN2 : Mask of the Betrayer had a romantic /nostalgic touch I liked very much, but the details felt often a little too "ham-fisted" for me.

Damn' you! I'm all tears now!! X'D

(Incidentally, your link and the title of the game, made me remind of one of the saddest movies. ever :
Black Rain - by Shohei Imamura - 1989. If you have seen this movie and it comes back to your memory, I stand probably avenged.
If not, you will cry, you'll see...)
