This made me teary eyed.
No one dies but it is just an intense battle and it appears that they are hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned. Then a surprise. You'll have to watch to find out.
Also a very underrated game.

The final level of Flower.....just seeing the whole city come back to life again was a very emotional moment for me. A beautiful work of art by thatgamecompany.

Jenny getting her parietal lobe blown out through her earhole in The Darkness - although that made me more depressed than teary eyed.

Mgs4 ending had me feeling like a POS afterwards because I finally realized what the 'Press Start' screen was all about.

A lot of ME3 moments - Mordin, Legion, most of the common ones around here.
Red Dead Redemption... Marston's end - was not expecting that. I kept re-loading, thinking I could red-eye them all, but no avail.

The ending for Mgs3, then Big Boss' reveal, and parting words for Snake in Mgs4.

Kingdom Hearts I and II Endings
Metal Gear Solid 3's Ending
Bioshock 1 and 2 Good Endings
The opening of Assassin's Creed II
When Jak finds out that Damas is his father in Jak 3
Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 Endings
Luigi reuniting with Mario at the end of Luigi's Mansion
As a bonus, here are emotional moments that made me laugh instead:
Shepard's STEEEEVE!!!!! yell in Mass Effect 3
Sora's crying when he reunites with Riku in Kingdom Hearts II (His feelings are natural and I understood the emotion and importance, but the more I thought about that scene, the more it made me laugh)
Not being able to have Fawkes enter the chamber at the end of Fallout 3 unless you have the Broken Steel DLC installed
Kratos' yelling in all God of War games
Ramirez pretty much doing everything in Modern Warfare 2 (And Keith David's delivery of the line)

Same here. That moment really hurt. I still consider that one of the most emotional moments I've seen in a videogame in quite some time.
Also the end of Red Dead Redemption was pretty sad too.

The Ending of Valkyria Chronicles because it was so beautiful.
When Mordin died in ME3.
The end of Terranigma did get to me as well.
AC Revelations when you learn about Altairs final moments. The AC: Embers short film got me teary eyed as well.
And, I will not lie, the end of Final Fantasy X even though I know it was kitschy and overly dramatic, but oh well.

Mass Effect 3 Goodbyes:
* Kaidan - I guess this is goodbye.
* Jack - I won't let you down.
* Miranda
Diablo 3: Leah Picks Up Cain's Journal
Silent Hill 2: In Water
Assassin's Creed: Cristina kept the Pendant
Final Fantasy: Aeris' Death (Sorry...I was like 14).

Halo 2 ending. I was only 10, and i was also shocked when i played the Arbiter and the ending itself was just so sudden i instantly thought i got the wrong Halo 2 or that it was some knock-off version.
I honestly thought it was, especially when i read a mag where one level takes place in New Mombasa and the city level was more bigger and expands to more than just level.

Ha! Two for two, the Red Dead Redemption ending was one of my favourites in video games.
Also, I found the ending to Portal 2 quite impactful. Chell finally attaining her freedom along with the singing turrets just sealed the deal for me.

I've never cried because of a good film or game.. until Mass Effect. I cried so much in the third game during Thane and Mordin's death scenes.
Heavy rain came close though. That game was made to make you cry.

The ending to ME3. Tears of disappointment never flowed so freely.
