Did about 30 missions this time (2 bronze, the rest silver), all to extraction, about 1/3 under 20 minutes and full extraction, only got sync-killed during extraction twice (d**n banshees).
Can't wait for the dlc so that I can spend some of my credits!

I am not having a good feeling about the results of this one. I just think player base is down (though not for long), persistent server issues were rampant and that there is a general perception that this one is "in the bag"....it will contribute to a surprise fail. We barely made the 600K Atlas Mech kills last mission and alot of dedicated folks were playing their tails off and getting 3-12 mechs per match (bronze/silver)...And no excuses either, stuff happens and you have to adjust to meet the challenge....Hope I am wrong, but have a sneaking suspicion we won't get there this time.

First mission I've participated in in about 6 weeks. Felt pretty good, actually. New way the commendation packs are going to be rewarded will encourage people to play more, methinks.

Put in four full extractions, with the best time around 14 minutes on bronze. One other was in bronze while the other two were silver matches. Those still came in under 20 minutes, but just barely. Only had to use missiles twice and one op survival pack. Not too shabby just didn't have all that much time to devote to the op.

Don't know about the 360 but the PS3 was barren this weekend. Just couldn't find all that many matches, could be I was on at the wrong time. Who knows? Datdude1970 may be right, though. We might have missed this one.

Enjoyable weekend (except for the many "drops" - myself and MIA squad members). Got to play with some solid team players this weekend - some of them outstanding and not just because they could roll the numbers. I play as a "random" and usually start on Bronze. This weekend it was great to find a team on Bronze and then move up to Silver and even to Gold. For the most part everyone understood "Get to the extraction Zone" and that time was important factor rather than: I'm going to put down a couple more reapers and pad my points. Thanks Teams.

Keep faith, we've got that one Image IPB I'm on pc and it fairly easy to find pug on bronze and silver.

I almost killed my mouse on that one, just hope the replacement will be ship fast Image IPB

I played a few (around 10-12) but it seems the servers were down more than I'd like this week. Then I had the quick match issue were it would get stuck "searching" Hopefully this didn't affect everyone and we met the requirements.

yea, I had been booted out of a couple matches with server problems, and took me about 20 minutes to get into a match only to get "your connection to the game was lost" I did as many as I could myself.. I think we may have owned the challenge...

I have been experiencing the same exact problems. I thought it was just on my end.

Since we're assuming that personal experience is identical to community experience, I expect that we have achieved this with flying colours. I had no server issues, never had trouble finding a match and I played a LOT of matches. We did have one failure to extract but thats out of about 50 total.

So that's my experience. Since people complain of server issues every operation and declare that these issues mean we will surely fail, and we almost always succeed, I've learned to ignore 'server issues' as a factor.

I think I did about 30 missions, 26 under 20 minutes, only platinum and gold. I refuse silver because that is too easy. I think we made it. Respect fo Atlas Operation two weeks ago, I'm one of the dedicated folks, I killed more than 300 Atlas that weekend so yes, maybe we made it thanks to a few guys (and the rocket glitch, inthat moment was still working, not now). This weekend I have no idea bit I think we made it. Well, tomorrow at night we'll know if we succeed or failed.

Well, I played a bunch of Bronze and Silver while leveling half my classes back to twenty (promoted right before the operation). However in the middle of a match on sunday, my PC got fried.
Turns out I havent been cleaning it from dust for 3 years. I guess I'm lucky it survived this long.
Either way, hours of cleaning brought it back to life, but then the op was already over, hope we made it.

On the other hand, there's people like me who felt the squad goal of same non-human race was going to be too much hassle and didn't bother to play that weekend, and did sign up for this one.

Hoping there were a lot like you and that my intuition is way off...not for the victory pack (ha!), but just like to hit the goal as a community.

Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Getting Substantial Update from BioWare
BioWare will be employing a big list of updates to Mass Effect 3's multiplayer. Read on for details...by ALEX CO on 8th Oct, 2012

BioWare is not joking around when it comes to Mass Effect 3's multiplayer support. They already announced the Retaliation expansion that will bring in the Collectors as a new enemy type, but they're not stopping there.

On the official BioWare Blog, Multiplayer Associate Producer Nathan Plewes sheds some light on some of the big changes they're adding to Mass Effect 3's multiplayer.

Plewes notes that they are adding "hundreds" of new multiplayer challenges that the player can tackle at their own pace. As you progress, you'll earn Challenge Points and completing "Gold" tier challenges will reward you with a unique banner and title that you can display in the mulitplayer lobby. The Gold challenges can be completed multiple times for even more points and BioWare has even added an additional leaderboard to keep track of all the points you've collected.

Going hand-in-hand with that new leaderboard is the new N7 HQ web page that offers info to the player when they're not playing. This includes character lists, leaderboards, and gameplay stats. In short, you'll be able to review your overall multiplayer progression (a la Battlelog for Battlefield 3).

One more thing they're tweaking are the multiplayer challenges. It will still run on weekends but there will be a prompt that a new challenge is available once you hop online to play multiplayer. In addition to that, players can now track their progress when it comes to these weekend challenges, and your reward (Commendation Packs) will instantly be awarded to you once you've completed the challenge -- yep, you won't have to wait days before collecting your bounty this time.

Lastly, Plewes notes that there will be weekend challenges every weekend and not every other week as is the case now. On top of that, they will be unlocking new kits and "other surprises" each week to help your squad in that next big push against the Collectors.

Wasn't feeling well during the weekend, 16 hour work, slept through most of Saturday having glitches in my internet connection. Got around 5-6 games <20 min with new player squads, that should help them out with the commendation packs.

Anyone knows the ETA for the results of the operation? i'm fairly new to me3 mp (only started to play it mid way this week, currently at N7 rating 80 something since i don't bother to promote classes for now) and am curious how this operations work, if anyone could give me some lights about how it works (objectives and reward wise), i would appreciate, although i got booted on lobby a couple of times in gold and silver with a lvl 18-20 character :(

Getting booted happens, at almost level 1100, still get booted some times, don't take it seriously. There could be a lot of reasons, some legit, some not so legit. The success or failure of an operation will most likely be announced today, if we succeeded we should get our packs by tonight at the latest, if we failed, we may not here anything until as late as Friday, so I have heard. I think that Bioware takes some time to really go over the data. Welcome to the game, btw, and don't let getting kicked discourage you, it has happened to almost all of us.

Thx for the welcome and the info, and DW i don't get discouraged easily, since i've played online games for quite some time i do get my share of "A Holes" encountrers online so i'm used, just thought they could be doing it for a low N7 rating because of being affraid of low level weapons but since i've grinded a bit this weekend and since i got lucky with my very first premium spectre pack giving me the 3 shot cartrige widow, usefull since i've been playing an infiltrator or a adept :)
