 I think that this operation has led me to realize.... I enjoy soloing bronze much better. As a gold player, I can honestly say that I... have trouble... on bronze. Not with dying or anything, but there's never anything to freaking shoot! I'll be lucky if I actually see ten enemies the whole match, they die so fast. So when I solo... I actually get to kill stuff... xD

I wonder if these people realize... most of the bronze players could actually play gold. They don't die, they kill fast, they just need to know how to build it right and they could play gold with no trouble.

+1 - Yeah, I have to admit that I pretty much get skeptical on Gold when I see a Vanguard. I've not been yelled at, but I certainly don't reward that type of thing mentioned above with a revive. To be fair, I have seen a lot of good Vanguards who really know how to play within the framework of a team, but with Gold (or higher) packing (or at least staying within reach) is the best approach, not lone-wolfing it...

Oh don't get me wrong, I have had some great Vanguards as well, but some just give the entire class a bad name. My first playthrough of ME was as a vanguard and one of my favorite MP characters is the Phoneix Vanguard. I just keep seeing people do things like this and it really just annoys me.

This happens to me on the daily. I'll promote my characters. I'll pick quick match, bronze, let's do work. Get into the match and try to kill something thinking I'm a boss, only to get completely owned. That's when I press start and realize I'm in a Gold/Platinum match.

Ha! And on the flipside of that, there are far too many people on Gold that belong on Bronze. I would dare say that some folks that have tried Gold/Silver have been turned off by bad teammates. I honestly thought to myself this AM, "where has all of the Gold talent gone" It's getting harder and harder to farm on PUGs because I think the talent has either moved on to Platinum (maybe) or to another game (more likely). All I know is I get tired of seeing Level 5 Vorcha Soldiers or Krogan Vangaurds on Gold, who can't play as a team.

Well, with the server restored I finally complete this 'challenge' on gold a few times. Here's hoping there won't be anymore break downs so we can get the extraction goal.

Done a few silvers and bronzes tonight after I got in from the pub....It's too easy though even in my inebriated state, I need to step it up and get back to gold....Maybe in the morning

If the servers went down for everyone around the world (had a 20 hours workday, so I only learned about it now), I am sure it was on purpose, making a rather easy sounding operation a difficult one . The first glance of the Collectors arriving.

42 extractions so far (33B, 4S, 5G)...about half of those with an organized team which makes things much easier. Will do another 10 or so tomorrow to get to my personal target and call it a mission. Looking forward to some more matches with Ifritanshiva, Smoker_LC and BlackandGreen. Anyone else looking to play just shoot me an invite, PSN ID same as BSN ID...but don't bother during Pittsburgh/Philadelphia tomorrow....

How could you call a game including Ifritanshiva organized? I heard she falls all the time ... and for everyone...

A typical contact would be:

Random player: "You shot me..."
Ifritanshiva: "Sorry, I fell. The shot was random"
Random Player:" Aw, come on dude - you fell?"
Ifritanshiva: "Yeah! For you! Are you on Facebook?"

Heard there are quite some guys saying the same...

My first gold match, i had two teammates who died instantly on wave 1. Sure I died, too (not sure what to expect and all) but that just made me think that it was way out of my league. Now I look back on the days that I had trouble with bronze and I wonder... how the heck did I have trouble with bronze? It's actually hard to die. xD 


I just really need to start playing platinum. The furthest I've ever gotten in a match was to wave 8, and then all of my teammates got instakilled by banshees and I ended up getting overpowered by the rest of the guys. I just need a good team to get used to platinum, then I'll probably do fine.

Servers been nice to me too lately, no disconnects or anything creepy. Been having quite many extractions since friday with different teams, and ready to do my part tonight as well. Let's make a good operation now before the collectors are over us!

if three people are readied up it'll start a countdown from 20, if the last person isn't ready by start it kicks them I think. If they do ready up, it just skips ahead to five.

Servers are still fine here today, thank goodness. I've got in about twenty-two, twenty-three extractions so far I think. Aiming to get in a handful more tonight.

The server issues could play a part here so I'm just trying to get in what games I can.

First and foremost, thank you very much Bioware/EA for Mass Effect 3, I love this game! I loved the original ending before the "Extended Cut DLC" was released and I love it even more now with the more explained ending. This is the only game that I purchased in 2012 and 70% of the time when I turn on my Xbox 360, I dive right into multiplayer! The other 25% of the time I either play Need For Speed Carbon, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, Smackdown vs Raw 2010, or Dead Island. The remaining 5% is for whatever.

I can't wait for "Mass Effect 4", please keep up the great work guys!

I got my Commendation Pack the first try after I got home from work. It was in a private Bronze solo-run against the Geth in Firebase Glacier and it took me 17 minutes and 00 seconds with my Krogan Vanguard. I love the Krogan Vanguard!

I got another 15 or 16 extractions for the Allied Goal in private Bronze solo-run matches against random enemy factions and random locations; I hope that we make the Allied Goal.

I can't wait to take down the "Collectors" this Tuesday when the "Retaliation DLC comes out!

NOTE: I really hate lag, so I mainly play "Private solo-run on Bronze against a random enemy faction & a random location." When I do decide to play with others, it is mainly on Silver and sometimes on Gold. Platinum is too hard for me.

Did my part for the allied goal today and fulfilled the squad goal multiple times. I can't wait to retaliate starting Tuesday.
