Just in the last few days, my Origin client no longer displays the individual game pictures/posters.  Instead, it's just a generic black box with the Origin logo (see screenshot below).

I've ran the "Repair Install" function, but no joy.

Mass Effect 3 runs as normal though either launched via Origin client or desktop icon.  The leftmost box is ME3 Demo.  No idea if that runs.  Never needed to test it anymore.

i had that after the balance update on tuesday, i forced origin to exit and then restarted it after enabling upnp/network discovery and ssdp and it fixed it, dunno why but origin doing really odd things when it updates itself

mayb one day EA will give out patch notes on what tweakes they made each tiem it gets updated (like a popup when origin restarts after the update) you know like steam has been doing forever>>>

forced origin to close via task manager, restarted origin removed the checkbox from start with windows, closed origin,

opened services.msc (went to start bar /admin/tools>services) scrolled down to ssdp and enabled that, then enabled upnp discovery, opened network sharing center >advanced sharing>checked network discovery on,
restarrted the pc, went and made a brew, came back right clicked origin on the desktop and removed the start as admin option from compatability tab in properties, started origin and it was just showing up again.

hopefully that was all easy enough to understand, but if not then i'll try and recreate the problem and log each process wiht screenshots in the future, although i suspect your pc knowledge is probably higher than mine :)

Hmmm seems like origin corrected it and now show my icon. Will try that if it reverts
