Another suggestion to curb credit farming

Before I begin:  I don't mind people who farm.  If you want to play the exact same thing over and over for hours, that's up to you.  I do mind, however, when it (at times) makes it difficult to find games that aren't doing Firebase White (or some other farmig map) over and over.

Also, I apologize if this idea has been suggested before, and I'm sure Bioware has already looked into it during their internal testing, but I thought I'd put it out and see what people think anyways.

The idea: why not make it so there is a credit penalty for playing the same map and enemy multiple times consecutively?  This would mean that if you play the same map and enemy again, you get rewarded less credits.  If you keep going, you receive less and less credits at the end of each match.

This gives you incentive to try at least something different for your next match.  Even if it's another farming map, it'll at least encourage some variety and reduce grind.

These penalties should also be tracked by player, so exiting the lobby and finding another with the same map and enemy won't remove your penalty total.

Obviously this means that random/random games should be made so the previous match's map and enemy combination is blacklisted for the next random draw.

So, in conclusion, this idea would encourage farmers to be less grindy (without severely cutting into their profit speed), while also maybe appealing to non-farmers who might stay if they know that at least something will be different each match.

What do you guys think?  It'd also be awesome if a Bioware dev could give feedback too.

I can understand where you are coming from, but there are certain times where we encourage people to play the same faction and/or map over and over.

Think about operation olympia, if this punishment was in place people would not have worked on the community goal.
