Could be a reference to the increasing number of mages being born yearly. Or a reference to the Circle's freedom.


"The shadows will part and the skies will open wide"

That could probably happen for a lot of reasons.


"When he rises, everyone will see"

Reference to the next player character perhaps?


We know that the prophecy is a vague implication of a future story. So this might be DA3 related.

Also not the first time they've thrown out propetic hints. Elini Zinovia in the Magi Origin said she would be freed when "The Maker returns to light their fires" and went silent in Witch Hunt, the tie in to Dragon Age II that took place around the same time chronologically that Bartrand's expedition discovered the idol, which led to a war between mages and templar and lit "the fires of war"

And there will probably be a hint as to what is in DA4 in DA3.

We know that the veil didn't always use to be in place, as far as when "he" rises, everyone will see, I think it's not the PC because of the gender specific term. OGB perhaps, or maybe some new character in the third game, Hell maybe Alistair.  It's all speculation at this point, none the less I am excited.

I don't mind words just being words, but when it comes to Sandal... I would be disappointed if it was just words with him. Something is up with that boy, and it would be mighty disappointing if it was just 'he's a crazy dwarf savant, and enchantment!'

I find the part about the skies opening wide likely links into what Yavana talks about in The Silent Grove.
