Hey everyone!
I am currently in early alpha development of a new PW based off of the fantasy world I have been slowly developing for the last ten years. But I was curious what the population was like of players still playing on NWN2 PWs. I'd love to share this world with my fellow players and other developers, but I'm worried too many people have moved on to other games or projects.
I suppose what I'm asking is, do folks still play?

Baldur's Gate - The Sword Coast Chronicles, Dalelands Beyond, Tales of Amn, Kingdom of Haven and plenty more, say hi.
Definitely we do and personally, almost exclusively on the most popular RP servers.
My advice as a player, is to give us a reason to visit your server. Why is it special? What will keep us there and not go to other ones? Tales of Amn recently launched and is very popular and it's still in early beta.
Be sure to use many popular haks and if it's compatible with your server, use Kaedrin's pack. Many servers are using it and even the Middle Earth one which uses custom races and classes. (Thug and Scout are in, not sure what else.)
And those that don't use it, I hear complains about it. Be sure to ask for permission from Kaedrin if you do.
Have a forum for people to leave their opinions and recommendations about it and give suggestions. You really want to be in contact with people if you do. Upload videos of it.
Look at the other servers and see what you like and what you don't.
When you launch it, always work to update it and improve it. Never rest or it will go stale.
