Jumping back aways here, but my Shep/Miri team would be opperating independently from the Alliance. He doesn't hate it. Just not a fan of the bureaucracy that accompanies any organization that has to deal with the mire of intergalatic politics.

Pfff, I'm named after a Right Fielder in the Giants minor league system in MVP Baseball 2005 who doesn't exist and was named after the Giants awesome color man.

I look at it now and I'm quite amused by how well my Shepard interacted with Miranda. I'm amused beyond belief that he uses "Miss" like I do.

Of course his version is affectionate. Funny how that worked out.

You might want to expand the OP a good deal actually, lest you confuse newbies who come here and wonder why there are two Miranda threads.

OR you could create a third thread titled "Why Miranda going to Chronos would not invalidate her character" and complete your transformation into thanemancers

Reminds me of what one of the earlier Ashleymancers said about the first thread - at some point a BIG EFFING SCHISM happened 'cause of the "Ashley-is-straight" and "Ashley-is-bi" groups ... or something.

Guess in the Ash thread we're just dreaming of a Virmire DLC that never is going to happen. Therefore no schism. Still bad enough - seriously - I want a DLC that allows Miranda and Ash being in the same squad including banter. Could be very interesting in case you romanced Ash -> Miri -> Miri or Ash -> Miri -> Ash ^^

Nope, ME3 ruined that potential interesting dynamic by making any Miri->Someone else romance thread lead to her death.

And only a monster would do that.

There was a discussion about that in the story forum the other day.

That relationship means a lot to her and people recognize that. The first person she lets in leaves her. I'd be upset too.

She's more than loyal to Shepard. They'll be great together.

I think there was a way to do the Ash -> Miri -> Ash stunt without killing Miranda, but ... no idea. Well, if I'm wrong, I'm sorry and concur: only a monster would break Miranda's heart and sign her death sentence.

A DLC could fix it, by the way. It not only could add a proper Miranda romance including a date, one or two extra scenes, maybe mails and a romantic climax scene - it also could add the option to allow the player to recruit Miranda for the crew.
Reminds me of one of my older ideas for romance DLCs: "be able to recruit your LI from ME2 ..."
