if there are 12 new classes, I wonder if they're going to add like" legacy" classes.

Like, a special variant for each of the original races, FemQuarian, Krogan, Turian *obviously*, salarian, etc

Well...pretty obvious that this is being used in the future Omega DLC.

Seems reasonable. Three more MP DLC to go then?

All 16 characters are in the Retaliation DLC. We will simply open the 12 remaining ones for unlock over time.

Who the hell cares about lore in multiplayer? In ME3 you either pacify or destroy the geth, yet you still fight them in MP. 

All Collectors did not die in the base just the base. If you look at the ME3 codex it has an entry of the collectors in the ME3 war. As for the geth some of them would of been outside of the home system and of lived and choose to keep fighting.

This has been said before but I'm pretty sure the MP DLC is setting us up for Harbinger/Collector involvement in the Omega DLC.

BTW It's already October, when are we gonna know the release date for the Omega DLC?
