Remember how in ME2, Collector Scions shot a shockwave that stopped your shields from regenerating for a while? Considering the scion that knocked him down, I'd assume that geth had been hit with it before being OHKO'd.

Yes, 16 new characters, but not all will be available immediately. Only 4 kits will be available on Tuesday Oct 9 and the remaining kits will be rolled out over time.

I can't give you a direct html link to the quote but one of the devs answered no to that question in one of the several dozen active threads here today.  His appearance is just in the trailer and not the actual MP in game content.

wow! finally some excellent news! new toys..hazards..Collectors!! and harbinger in the background...really the best MP DLC trailer to date.
also noticed batarian with lash, drell with homing grenade, and a krogan using biotics..


but cmon guys add the chakram, Adas and punisher SMG weapons also!

It is probably a good idea to edit the first post to clear up that confusion.  Multiple versions of that post already exist and are the reason people are asking about the initially reported 16 characters hours later.

Oct. 9th is also the release date for Dishonored. Going to have to fight with my SO for control of the Xbox now haha. 


As a side note, I really believe that Bioware is spoiling me.  No other multiplayer game has captured my attention and given me what I want like this.
