Oh yes, Bioware is obviously just trying to milk every last dollar they can out of this game... that must be why they keep giving away free DLC! That way they can lull us into a false sense of security and then... well I'm really not sure how that would work, but they're clearly evil!

They use the same strategy as the underpants gnomes do.

1.) Make game.
2.) Give away free multiplayer DLC's.
3.) ???
4.) Profit!

In fact all we've been charged for after the sale are the single player DLC's. They are completely optional. Technically MP DLC's are as well, but given that they are free why not download them? Maybe they realized that paid DLC's for MP games segregates the community and perhaps they realized that they needed to expand the MP experience if they wanted it to last. The original MP game wasn't nearly as much fun as it is now. More bugs, balance issues, and far fewer weapons, classes and maps. It's improved a lot. I played a little when the game first came out, enjoyed it but ultimately didn't play it again until around the time the third DLC was about to drop. I got it and it was like a whole different game.

As for things like the Collector's Assault Rifle, who cares? The people that bought it got it with something else physical that they probably would have bought anyway. If they bought a Razer Black Widow just for one in-game multiplayer assault rifle then they aren't too bright or have more money than sense. Either way it doesn't concern me. And they've been able to enjoy that content this entire time. We just now got some of these items. Do I care if they give out the rest of the SP / MP content? Nope. I've had it from the very beginning and enjoyed it. Most of the exclusive SP content was free anyway. Either came with pre-orders or as part of some promotion.

Can't wait to see the Asari Huntress Infiltrator, since that's pretty much exactly how I(and I'm guessing a good amount of others) played the Asari. Stasis+Sniper/Carnifex=win wonder what her other power will be, or if we'll even get stasis.

Please release the collectors with all the cool weapons and new ammo types for single player also! It would be awesome too have more enemies to face off against in single player also. With leviathan found and a possiable threat for the reapers it would make sense for the reapers to wanna bring out all their weapons to show their might to stop all hope and the resistance of all species in this cycle.

I have a terrible idea, maybe one of the map hazard is an actual reaper shooting at us like the end run of the single player while we have to fight all endless hordes. We need to stay alive long enough so "its time for aerial bombardment".

Keep the bastards occupy long enough so we can bomb them from orbit, perfect for the horde mode at extraction round.

Wow I can't believe there are actually some people on this topic hating on bioware and saying all they want is money and that free DLC is just another scheme to make money. Really grow up and stop posting nonsense. Besides so far all multiplayer DLCs have been free which is surprising since some has to pay for all the hours they put in to develop all this content. So why complain really and I'm sure they want money who works for free you can't hat everyone for making money unless they are being greedy and overpricing things which that ain't the case here.

Free DLC is great because if they wanted they could charge people for these multiplayer DLCs but they don't. Its probably because we already pay for the premium, spectre, and other packs and they they make there money there which pays for it all. So what's wrong with that its their jobs and you get paid for doing a job and nothing is free someone always pays. Now to make a DLC you need money it ain't free so obviously we are the Ones who will have to pay one way or the other sooner or latter unless someone else already did.

They are a Bussiness and they don't make games just for kicks just like us they have a life and need money to live. Having said all this don't get me wrong they still need to respect and care for the fans since we are the ones keep the gaming industry alive and I'm sure they do. Since day one they have kept releasing a steady amount of DLC for this game and always tried to fix anything they could to keep the fans happy as much as possiable. Now if you don't like them fine but hate them for the right reasons not for making money like anyone else would be doing if it were their job too.

Personally I think bioware has done a great job and continue to do so no matter what even after they got together with EA and people thought it would be the end of bioware as we knew them. So for those who don't like mass effect 3 move on to another game or get a life and stop posting crap that means nothing to the people who actually like this game and are happy anytime. Ew content is coming out.

Yes, Bioware is out to make money. Do you know why? Because that's what businesses do. That's their entire reason for existence.

Having said that, I am thrilled with the new DLC. Some of you people could win the lottery, and would then just spend the rest of your lives complaining about the taxes.

Free mp dlc must mean people spend a lot of the micro-trans when they can't wait or have points left over. hell skip a pizza once a week or something

if i knew i'd get a certain character/gun i'd buy way more often. i blew 4 million credits in the last month and got nothing but that new rare gun and ammo 4 stuff.
I wanted to get the last 5 levels of my lasst 2 URs but no it was just lost. Then borderlands came out and i've been with that game the last 2 weeks

There is only one thing I don't like about this DLC, and it's that PSN EU get it a day later than everyone else. Sony should get a right good smack in the head for being so cruel and unusual towards their Euro gamers. That day extra to wait is very very long when most of the people on your friends list are already playing with the new shinies, and you can't play with them because you don't have the same content.

The trailer gave me goosebumps, and I have been squealing with my sister since we found out. Every time we talk we find something new to squeal about. Challenges! Collectors! Turians! Jetpack!
I have to admit that MP had grown mildly stale for me. I've been spending my time lately working on an insanity run of ME2. Now the Collectors in ME2 have to wait, because the Collectors in ME3 need the attention of my guns, and my biotics, and my tech.

Also you'll need to buff it or it'll just be thrown aside as another bad AR, like most of them.

Parody-rage aside, Bioware should've buffed it to the point it was actually worth using in those months and months. What's the point in having it if weapons that came with the vanilla game are better options? Literally get punished for actually giving Razer money, don't think if it was up to Razer the C.A.R. would be crappy ingame...

Yes, how dare those bastards let other people use this gun. The fiends must be punished! After all, it's not like the people got gaming equipment with their purchase and months of exclusive rights to the gun or anything. 

I definitely approve of this release. A new enemy faction (that hopefully encourages new tactics) should go a long way to shaking up the current tired state of multiplayer. I would like to echo the request for a new character select screen, the current one is already too crowded for my tastes.

Also, if anyone bought any real life items with the sole goal of getting the CAR, they should not be allowed a bank account.
It was a nice bonus, not an evil money making technique.

I would like a grenade type, that spawns a anti-ballistic shield or omni-shield, in the open. So you can make your own cover. it could be a power for the protheans (see the ME2 collectors)

I hope the drill rounds do the same effect as the shredder rounds from Thane.

Grenades: cryo grenade, warp grenade (= inferno grenade), stasis grenade (low capacity), flashbang grenade from ME2.
