Even though I'm certain that absolutely nothing will happen on Dec. 21st and that doomsday thing is crap, I'll use it as an excuse to not go to work that day.
Oh, and I'll make sure that my survival rifle is ready and loaded and my bug out bag is complete if something DOES happen.

Its never a bad idea to have a plan B.

Ehh thats worst, worst case. In general its expected to play hell with the power grid. Likely Ruin all cell and smartphones, for the next decade, plus most wifi sources. That last bit with the phones I'm fine with lulz.

Yes it was. You can also debunk it by yourself simply by looking up into the sky at night. Simple astronomy will show that there's no object heading to the earth to impact it.

Sadly some people have been so gullible and naive that they have actually committed suicide in fear of the end of the world this year despite the fact that such claims have no evidence. I'd imagine we'll be hearing about more of these suicides as December approaches even closer.

As for me, I'll be impatiently awaiting for the next day just so I can laugh about it when it comes and mock the doomsayers in the many news articles that will be produced saying "well the end of the world came and we're still here".

I know, at least a rise in the average temperature of the earth (temporary or for centuries and more) by 5-10 degree Celsius will happen. I realy like to listen to the whining of the Europeans experiencing 50 degree Celsius in summers! It will be glorious.. lulz
