You gave us too many quest that just  were so boring and meaningless. Like the one where you have to ask some guard if he likes Aveline Vallen. .Then you have to guard him from 15-20 spawn enemies just to let him know that aveline vallen likes him. It just doesn't make any sense to add that in to the game it add nothing to the story. When people say that  they want it more like dragon age origin they mean they want quest that feel epic grand scale stuff not some little fetch quest here and there. The only quest i liked  in da2 where The Last Straw , Wayward Son and Demands of the Qun.because you made it feel epic it was minginfel it made me want to play the game bit more.

Could've been dialogue free quests like DA:O. Kill X bandits. Kill 3 wolves. Kill bear. Jeez the level of grind in DA:O was horribad.

I do believe you're criticising what is thought to be one of the best written quests by many (random trash mobs aside). Careful thinking you speak for majorities =)

I don't care if you take my opinion seriously or not that's what made the game hard to play through and finish.

I could not disagree more.

The Aveline/Donnic quests were some of the most fun in the game! I let you really see a different side of your companions, while ... wait. Is this a troll? Dang.

I don't think DA2's main problems were with the quests.

I never finished DA2 because of the repeat environments. I will finish it now for DA3 but only because I have to. The game repeats itself over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again.

The quest is about Aveline and Donnic not the Mage/Templar/Qunari conflict. It wasn't pointless it created character development and later Ave and Donnic get married, if you cared for your companions' character development then you probably would have enjoyed the quest. If you don't care about that then idk why you're playing a Bioware game.

IMHO, the quests in DA2 were on the same par as the quests in DAO. The Long Road quest is one of my favorites, because it shows the human side of the companions. DAO had similar quests like Alstair meeting his sister. What did that add to DAO? The same thing it showed the human side of the companions. That adds to the roleplaying experience. I hope to see more quests that show our companions human sides in DA3.

The little stroll along the beach was fun and provided a nice slice of life moment. Not everything is about the mages and templars at times you have to think about those around you. If anything we need more chances to get involved in the lives of our companions. It's a shame we never got to help steal ownership of the hanged man.

DA has one of the lowest amounts of grind I've ever seen. The ONLY grinding in the game is potent lyrium potion crafting for cash. That's it. All combat etc. is non repeatable.

I'd say they are among the most fun quests I've experienced in a game for a long while.

I liked that mission. A little relief from all the crazy people of Kirkwall. just like the couple in the Dalish camp, but more articulated.

But I really hated the inconclusive other. Like the one with the son of the judge. You can kill him, and the father promises revenge on you, but I didn't see a thing...only a letter from the Elf and his daughter.
A pity, because I loved that confontation with right/wrong. It was ethically hard. I liked it.
Or the destiny of the cave. Hawke can buy it or not, but there was no consequences at all. Or with Varric and the piece of artefact...

And I couldn't stand the ones in witch you find random things, and, without knowing nothing, you can go to people in town and give them things they lost. Even worse than the "missions" in ME3. Hawke is not just an eavesdropper as Shep, hes/she is a telepath!

Aww, how hard is it!? You don't have to be a mindreader to walk up to the people with big honking exclamation marks over them and see what they want :P

There were boards in Redcliffe and Denerim as well. As a completionist, I can attest to the existence of these quests outside of Lothering. The problem with many DA:O quests was that they were essentially meaningless, both over the course of the game, in regards to save imports, and in the epilogue. The game has huge portions which are devoted solely to increasing wealth, gearing up, or gaining more experience points. The Fade is a massive section where nearly most of the content is devoted to increasing stats.

When I say grind here I am not referring to repeatability. A quest that has no meaning outside of gold/gear/xp is what I mean by grind here. In MMOs I actually have very similar views. Grind to max is something that I am not fond of, and grind to max does not always mean repeating the same area over and over again.
