No, because Origins was perfect AMIRITE?

I don't care if you take my opinion seriously or not that's what made the game hard to play through and finish.ScarMK wrote...

The Aveline/Donnic quests were some of the most fun in the game! I let you really see a different side of your companions, while ... wait. Is this a troll? Dang.

I don't think DA2's main problems were with the quests.

DA has one of the lowest amounts of grind I've ever seen. The ONLY grinding in the game is potent lyrium potion crafting for cash. That's it. All combat etc. is non repeatable.

I'd say they are among the most fun quests I've experienced in a game for a long while.

But I really hated the inconclusive other. Like the one with the son of the judge. You can kill him, and the father promises revenge on you, but I didn't see a thing...only a letter from the Elf and his daughter.
A pity, because I loved that confontation with right/wrong. It was ethically hard. I liked it.
Or the destiny of the cave. Hawke can buy it or not, but there was no consequences at all. Or with Varric and the piece of artefact...
And I couldn't stand the ones in witch you find random things, and, without knowing nothing, you can go to people in town and give them things they lost. Even worse than the "missions" in ME3. Hawke is not just an eavesdropper as Shep, hes/she is a telepath!

I liked that mission. A little relief from all the crazy people of Kirkwall. just like the couple in the Dalish camp, but more articulated.

Aww, how hard is it!? You don't have to be a mindreader to walk up to the people with big honking exclamation marks over them and see what they want

There were boards in Redcliffe and Denerim as well. As a completionist, I can attest to the existence of these quests outside of Lothering. The problem with many DA:O quests was that they were essentially meaningless, both over the course of the game, in regards to save imports, and in the epilogue. The game has huge portions which are devoted solely to increasing wealth, gearing up, or gaining more experience points. The Fade is a massive section where nearly most of the content is devoted to increasing stats.

When I say grind here I am not referring to repeatability. A quest that has no meaning outside of gold/gear/xp is what I mean by grind here. In MMOs I actually have very similar views. Grind to max is something that I am not fond of, and grind to max does not always mean repeating the same area over and over again.
