Anyone have any idea what the third one on the top row is supposed to be? It appears to have an empty helmet for a head. The chest armour makes me think Krogan
It's the Krogan Shaman.
Same armour as the Battlemaster has in game right now.
Is the helmet different to the Battlemaster? I googled pics of the BM and the helmet seems different
Man, I hope so. That'll bring the number of characters who aren't re-skins up to two (really, BW?).
Maybe they will make all the other opcuming characters look different than what they look like right now, considering the Turians look different too, and we only get the Turian Havoc and Ghost at DLC launch. So here's hoping that they are just lazy and didn't change the looks of the other characters in the trailer because we don't get them at launch anyway. lol If not... well, that would be pretty disappointing.

I was waiting for someone to quote this! I don't get why BW would contradict their own lore by adding Volus. I could possibly tolerate two Volus classes, if and only if they would work out lore/gameplay-wise. But four??? Two of those spots would be better for new Salarians, since they're now the most underappreciated species in MP.variobunz wrote...

As such, they are highly dependent on the turians for defense, although the volus themselves do provide some auxiliary troops to the Hierarchy. The volus will support the turians in any war they might pursue, and the turians will do the same for the volus."

Volus have to be a joke. And no Salarians? I don't buy it.

Because it's their property and they can do what they see fit with it? Just a thought. (and yes conversly you can decide not to participate in it/buy it).

I edited my post that you quoted. I'm not upset over the fact that Volus are in MP, moreso that there are four Volus characters while we haven't gotten any new Salarians and that all of the new kits for existing species have the same appearance as the originals instead of receiving new looks like the Turians.palmof40sorrows wrote...

And thats actually my main issue, because if there are 4 volus' then there the reason everyone has the same outfits. Unless, like we've been hoping that they are actually placeholders

Now that part is especially bugging me. Are they just being lazy or why are the Turians the only ones who are actually different looking than originals. I don't think it's that hard to give them new looks, since there are plenty of models in the singleplayer which they can copy or adapt on.and that all of the new kits for existing species have the same appearance as the originals instead of receiving new looks like the Turians.

Also, somebody posted a few pages back about their problem with Volus being added was that they didn't want them put into MP as a joke. I have the same concerns. The only Volus character I'm perfectly okay with is the Engineer, since it fits their overall theme of high-tech businessmen better than, say, a Vanguard.
Nothing is know about how society works on their planet. And their money built the most powerful dreadnought of the Galaxy. I wouldn't be surprised if they were able to create Biotic Gods through experimental science and implants.

Using the same method that was used to find the thumbnails for the new characters, I looked around(okay that's a lie. I made Google look around) and found that the N7 Valkyrie was recently uploaded as well.
We might be getting it soon as a weapon.

Not entirely Retaliation related and I mentioned it in another thread, but I might as well mention it here as well.

Nice find! I was expecting it last week when we got the Raider. Good to know that it's coming.

I love the reading comprehension on this forum. The bold section is all the lore they need to introduce these characters.
No matter what Bioware does in this situation it will be funny though. If this is a joke, then they successfully trolled half of the forum. And if we're really getting playable Volus we get to watch a bunch of people complain about a free download for a videogame.
All bull**** aside, this is a great thread Cyonan. Keep up the digging.

Looks just like that, except it fits in the light in the quarian's masks.

(1)Asari infiltrator is the best idea since multiplayer was put into the game and you people are whining? what the hell is wrong with you all?
(2)We already have a class of unit using their biotic power to become invisible and snipe you from the other side of the map, they're called Phantom.
(3)Saying that Asari can't be infitrator because they have to be biotic to enter the military is about the most clueless comment I have read this week, and that's saying something.
1. That's an opinion child.
2. Tactical cloak is a Tech (Combat?) skill. Not Biotic.
3. You aren't an important person anymore than someone else. Your personal experiences are irrelevant.
