I believe Cerberus fighting in London proves lore left MP a long time ago.

I believe Platinum difficulty negates lore too. Anyway if it is PROPERLY explained I dont see why this cant happen.

The good thing about a made up universe is BioWare can say anything they want to explain it, if you care about lore. Look it's easy:

Great news everyone, the Volus have figured out how to make indestructible suits. They will be joining the fight. Hackett out.

And we love it, bring on the Volus! :police:

I call Christmas lulz and a silly class just for merry making and amusement. Don't take it too seriously till it happens, ne? 4 Volus team with Santa hats would certainly make me giggle for a week or two.

Then i hope bioware will add smurgles and pikachus as new enemies, and maybe some paraplegics as a new class, and i'll be looking for you saying "just don't play them if you don't want".

Volus make absolutely NONE sense. We can explain collector, we can even explain cerberus in london and quarians fighting with geth teammate, but how can you explain a little crap to weak for speak killing a banshee with a claymore that weighs twice his weight ? Be serious, there is a diffence between not respecting the lore and the LOGIC.

Well wait until the volus characters come out, see for yourself what they can do, and THEN say you don't like the concept?

Oh Holy Hell I cannot believe I am a part of this dumb****-ridden community... I don't know if all this blind praise for this most-likely-false information is all simply for the sake of referencing that Biotic God meme or not, but either way it's complete nonsense.

And that would be acceptable because I'm not so self-centered that I would want to deprive everyone of something, just because I don't want it.

Welcome to real world.

This is absolutely not a problem of gameplay dude. There is lore, and LORE.

lore can agree with cerberus in london, with 5 medipacks and with geth fighting with quarians, because this is needed for the gameplay of multiplayer.

LOOOORE can absolutely not agree with volus, we learn since Mass Effect 1 that volus are not able to fight, they pay other races to protect them. And now we forget all of that and play with a focking volus biotic god ? Be SERIOUS please.

Please !

We all (intelligent people) give you money if you don't add them. I hope all the volus leaked in DLC database are not kits. It can't be true. You can't break YOUR lore in this way.

We can discuss about collectors but their arrival can be LOGICAL. And fun to play against.

Volus ? Is that fun to play that thing ? They are too weak to SPEAK and you want add them to fight reapers like a Krogan ?

This is not a comedy game. This is not angry bird here. Some serious please. I play a sci-fi game.

We all hope the leak is wrong.

whose we?  You got a turd in your pocket?

Then read what you've just written and realize that that is exactly what you are doing.

I want to see a Volus. It's an interesting add-on. And you can't just say I'm not logical, for you have no proof of any kind to support that claim. You should really just stop this sort of generalizing, because it just doesn't stand right.
You don't want to see Volus teammates, but that doesn't necessarily mean those who are intrigued by the concept shouldn't and mustn't want to see them either.

It will be interesting. Until then, I don't really care, and there isn't really a reason to do so. But I do anticipate the time when they come out.

That is real world ? Really ? You're an idiot. This is not a problem of "self centered" or anything. They created a game were Volus are not able to fight. They DON'T add them to multiplayer. As simple as that.

And you say " I'm not so self-centered that I would want to deprive everyone of something"

Okay. Don't deprive us of playing a logical game.

Did you even see the ending of ME3?
Honestly, I do not care about the lore after that. I just want to play a fun game, and even despite all its angering issues due to shoddy programming at some points, at least it is something they will provide, and the Volus kits are a part of that.

As I said, just because YOU don't want the Volus, it doesn't mean that the creators cannot include them into the MP as playable characters, and it doesn't mean that ME and everyone else on this forum have to agree with your concept of depriving us of playing a new character.

No proof ? The lore Bioware created isn't a proof for you ? The fact volus ARE NOT (you accept or not no one care, they are not) able to fight isn't a proof ?

Okay then, Bioware add a pikachu teammate, no one have proof that it's not logical, because i think it is.

Ow guy stop dreaming, in 10 guys, 7 are against volus. 2 are "maybe, it can be fun, i don't care of lore". 1 is "I WANT A BIOTIC GOD looool".

And the concept of depriving us of a logical game, what do you say for that ?

I can so see it......

The whole teamed wiped...and one lone Volus stands against four Phantoms.  They puncture his suit. "Squad member off line".  And while the ninja cows camp his body waiting for him to bleed out...BOOM! "Enemy Clear. Good work team"

:D

Well the Volus are a part of the Mass Effect universe, while doing a Pokemon crossover is not necessarily so.

Though now that you mention it, adding the first generation pokemon as an enemy faction could be interesting, 151 different types of Pokemon could certainly be varied enough for quite a while.

This thread is getting a bit heated. I'm going to leave it open for now, but bring it down, I think that the difference in opinion here can be discussed without turning towards personal attacks.

This is an interesting discussion, but lets try to have it in a civil manner.

From Salarian intelligence: Top secret...not even for the eyes of the Dalatress. One of our operatives recently, through one of his connections has learned the following information.

The Volus home world government instituted operation "Iron Fist" several years ago. After being pushed aside from any power on the council and watching as humans became council members after Commander Shepards saving of the council in the Sovergn incident and realizing that their lack of military and intelligence gathering abilities would always limit them the Volus secretly invested heavily in military hardware and training.

Thus the VSTF (Volus Special Tactics Force) was secretly created and has been training for some time on an undisclosed plant. The Volus had intended to keep this secret for as long as possible but with the Reaper war potentially going badly on several fronts the Volus high command has authorized immediate deployment of the the new units across the galaxy.

"Perhaps now.....(shuckkkkkk) the humans and galaxy will take us seriously. (shuckkkkkk)" Were the words uttered by Ambassador Korlac in a recorded top secret message.

You might or might not like the ending of ME3, but how did it break the lore ? The exploding Mass relay not wipoing out the whole system maybe, but there can be explanations found for that, without having to go on too far of a stretch.
