Sorry, but why do people think they are just running gags?
They look silly with their bumbly figure, OK, but that "Biotic God" overshadows quite some of the other aspects of Volusness.
I don't think they are all that silly and ridiculous (although the biotic God IS one of the best gags in the series.)
They are dealers, crimelords, business-people living quite well with their image as helpless pathetic people.

Holy ****, I can't wait to get Volus classes!

I just got Krogan Vanguard last night after six months of casual playing so I'm not expecting to get a Volus anytime soon. But will be insanely happy when I do receive one. I hope they kick some serious ass! \\m/

dealers, crimelords and business-people, yes. They are not supposed to be in front of the hardest battles of the universe. Thanks, you prove by yourself that volus are not a good stuff to add to the multiplayer. Thanks a lot

Absolutely not, sorry. And even if it was, it's because of gameplay restrictions. There is not restriction in gameplay that force Bioware to add Volus, that's the difference.

How does it make more sense ? In the ME3 storyline the division between heretics and geth doesn't exist anymore. Before Shepard manages to turn all the geth to his side, there are only Legion and some primes that have officially joined him. So no, the introduction of geth in MP while still fighting reaper-controlled geth doesn't really seem lore friendly either.

Of course you can always find a reason for that. For example Legion managed to somehow rally more geth to his cause to fight the reaper controlled geth. And I'm fine with that or whatever explanation there may be, as I like having playable geth. So how is it so hard to imagine that the volus could  somehow build some kind of enhanced suit that enables them to fight ?

I can understand why people wouldn't like the Volus to be in MP because they don't like them or anything but referring to the lore to say that they shouldn't be in MP reflects a very biaised point of view. And bioware doesn't force anybody to play them anyway.

I'm more worried about how they'll respond in combat situations. They're 3 foot tall and round for crying out loud! How will they hold weapons and lean over cover?

Seriously. The entirety of sentient races in Milky Way is in danger of being wiped out and people are having trouble understanding why Volus would be allowed on the battlefield? Why would an entire race not be battle-ready when necessary? If you wera a Volus that saw the entire galaxy plunging into darkness, would you just stand around and let the Reapers, with horrible logic, destroy you and everything you hold dear? I don't know about you, but I would'nt hesitate to fight if I were a Volus.

In a war like this, anyone who can use a slingshot and can lift a paperclip with biotics are welcome to join the fight. Meaning that even Volus, who are hypersensitive to any bad thing that can happen to them outside of their planet, are welcome.

Stop saying that. Stop inventing your own lore. Nothing says in lore that Volus have this point of view. NOTHING.

And stop be a liar too, if you were as weak as a volus, you WOULDN'T fight. As they don't.

Those images are created from paintover/touchups of 3d models. The touch up alone would take more than 2 hours on these. It is not a prank. It is not fake. It is the coming of  VOLUS GODS.

Geth and medigel is the only legitimate one you listed.  The rest makes perfect sense if you actually pay attention to the story and lore.

All of that are gameplay restrictions (and geth against geth is really not an issue). Volus are not. That's all. Too hard to understand ?

I don't see how Volus in the battlefield violates the Lore. I remember when Mass Effect 1 comes out they say Quarian die if they take of the helmet and a single kiss kills them. And look... I banged Tali in Mass Effect 2 (an ME 3 too hehehe) and she lives. So anything is possible!
And to be honest we don't know many things about Volus and what they capable of.
