I don't see how Volus in the battlefield violates the Lore. I remember when Mass Effect 1 comes out they say Quarian die if they take of the helmet and a single kiss kills them. And look... I banged Tali in Mass Effect 2 (an ME 3 too hehehe). So anything is possible!
And to be honest we don't know many thinks about Volus and what they capable of.

Seriously, we need a "Why playable volus is retarded" FAQ.  We just get the same 3 or so ones over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over...

Seriously. The entirety of sentient races in Milky Way is in danger of being wiped out and people are having trouble understanding why Volus would be allowed on the battlefield? Why would an entire race not be battle-ready when necessary?

In a war like this, anyone who can use a slingshot and can lift a paperclip with biotics are welcome to join the fight.

Stop saying that. Stop inventing your own lore. Nothing says in lore that Volus have this point of view. NOTHING.

And stop be a liar too, if you were as weak as a volus, you WOULDN'T fight. As they don't.

Lore.....lore...

So Geth getting healed by medigel, Cerberus and Reapers fighting together, and Cerberus fighting in London are acceptably lore-breaking, but allowing a sentient, but fragile race is unacceptable? And consdering the synthesis BS that the Crucible brought along with it, Volus are still worse?

It amazes me how people would let something as small as MP lore get in the way of fun. Maybe in singleplayer Volus aren't very war-savy, but we shouldn't put such restrictions on MP. If we decide to let a fictional story reduce our enjoyment, then that is your problem. I for one am glad to accept Volus. And NOTHING in lore suggests that Volus wouldn't fight if they had to either.

You don't even know how they have adapted themselves into the battlefield and you still complain. Maybe they have expensive war suits that allow them to survive against gunshots and powers. But no. Your views are so simple minded that you can't even come up with any possibilities that would allow them to fight along side everyone else.

Finally, don't tell me what I wouldn't do if you don't even know the slightest detail about myself. I might not be military trained, but if the Reaper Wars were real, I wouldn't hesitate to kill any Marauders, Husks, ect that would even attempt to lay a finger on my family and friends.

We should just accept the fact that the Volus is coming and all would be fine.
Then we would not be locked in a temporal loop like Zaeed.

So you say all but not any decent reason to add volus.

Multiplayer has a lore : elite operations.

Elite operation =/= add a weak snail to the commando because he want to protect his family. 'kay ?

The rest is nothing, saying "this and that are crap, so why not add crap again ?" is nothing.

Then i will answer you with godwin : There already were a WW1 and a WW2, why not a third ?

And you, what are you trying to achieve ? You spend your time to say "they are confirmed shut up and enjoy". If you think they are confirmed, why would you continue to debate with us ? Answer us this.

I think all of the caracters in MP are extraordinary. Why can't be a Volus (among millions or billions of Volus) can be extraordinary. Or two or more. I do not think that the Turian Sentinel in MP is a common Turian. He is very well trained. Why can't have the Volus Special trained operatives witch they offer to the fight.

Because no amount of training overcomes the fact they move too slowly, are too short, and explode at suit puncture.  This was FIRMLY established in ME1.

The best of the best volus has the same problem than others : he explodes when hitted. That's WHY. That's the ANSWER. That's ALL.

And a super turian is a lot better than a super volus. Volus have not any special skill to bring to actual forces into the fight.

Suit can be solved by tech. And being short not that bad. They are smaler target and also they are already in cover when just standing next to a box. :)

Is it so hard to believe that maybe some Volus are getting extensive training to help them adapt to harsh situations. If Volus are getting the training and the right gear to become part of the elite operations, then I don't see why they wouldn't qualify for being on the front lines.

I don't care about Lore.

Why did you bought Mass Effect ?

For the story in the single player.

We;re talking about the MP here.  Lore went out of the window months ago.  Cerberus invades London, you play as the Geth whilst fighting other Geth, Geth can use MediGel, etc, etc.

All of that are gameplay restrictions (and geth against geth is really not an issue). Volus are not. That's all. Too hard to understand ?

Not a gameplay restrction?  Are you serious?  They're THREE FOOT TALL you moron!  How will they take cover behind counters and panels and lean over it to shoot?  Hold on, how will they be able to hold weapons with those short arms?  Or run on those short legs?

Oh but I bet "lore" has some explaination for it like I dunno, super Master Chief style mech suits that make them three feet taller so they're more in line with the rest of the classes and can shoot a gun heavier and bigger than a Predator.

You can totally overcome natural biological limitations with extensive training! Haven't you seen all the humans that can fly by flapping their arms real fast after lots of training?

Yes and N7s are the BESTs still we have Quarians and Vorcha. The Volus suit can be solved by tech. This game take place in the future with mass effect fields and mass relays and so on. Surely BioWare can come up a solution for the Volus suit problem. They even solved the Quarian suit rapture (not to kill by a single hit).

What about special armor? Maybe they would have specialized armor that can either reduce their limitations or make up for them.

Sure, that makes perfect sense.  We invented a type of armor that's so awesome it makes it so that a volus suit won't be punctured by a missile, but we only give it to volus and don't let other races have this invincibility so they could single-handedly win the war.
