Most of the negative comments come from Rif and Betrayal. There's also a good amount of people for Volus.

If they're ready made and are deployable for MP they will do it. After all. The ending happened. Granted it was rectified (mostly well imo). If I were you I'd be hoping that the volus were a Hoax for dataminers.

Otherwise. They're coming. The blowback will be from the Lore purists most likely. Dunno how many there are.

I don't know where I actually stand on the inclusion of Volus in MP. On the one hand I enjoy lore, but on the other I really don't care about lore in MP. Thus I am on the fence for Volus in MP.

Really? You know what the backlash will be like if they were going to put Volus in and they don't at this point? They'd only release 12-14 characters instead of the full 16 and if it is because of whiners, then everyone else will FLIP OUT on those whiner. Destroying content, even if some don't like that content, is not something you'd want to be responsible for.. xD

I'm only skeptical because, I'm afraid it might get silly when they start running out of ideas, or something along those lines. Kind of like TF2 with the hats....

Yeah, having the same problem here. But 4 Volus, 2 of them being biotics seems a bit too much. I'm pretty convinced this a dev troll to fool dataminers from discovering content that is related to the Omega DLC.

You're missing the point of my post and assuming why I don't want Volus. The idiots who thought that "Biotic God" crap was funny were simply louder than those who thought it was not. The way I see it, all we "volus-haters" must do is be loud as well. It will at least be worth a shot. Your comments on our thoughts 'not mattering' are very insulting.

...but yes. I'm hoping both for the Volus to be a Hoax for the dataminers, and the re-skinned "new" characters to simply be placeholders.

That's exactly why I don't want them in Multiplayer. They're a joke. Once they become included in the Multiplayer, that too will become silly.  Besides, the work that they put into programming them would've been much more appreciated had it been aimed at new units (STG, anyone?) or at least new skins for the new characters (I doubt I'm the only one who thinks re-skins are lame).

The more I think about this the more I'm certain that the volus as just place holders to avoid leaks. It just doesn't make sense to add them. Bioware respects their franchise too much to add joke characters that break lore like this and even if they did decide to add volus it would be 1 kit not 4 of them! I mean, if they were to add something rediculous as a place holder this is exactly what they would choose. My guess right now is that these volus will be replaced with mercenaries coinciding with the Omega DLC in the fall:
Volus Engineer -> Blue Sun Salarian
Volus Adept -> Eclipse Asari
Volus Mercenary -> Blue Sun Batarian
Volus Protector -> Bloodpack Krogan

It would coincide with this bit of challange data that was mined also:

Machine Mastery
Commando Mastery
Outsider Master
Blood Pack Mastery

This would also explain why they have been so secretive about what all 16 classes will be leaving us to data mine for answers.

Ah I apologize if I insulted. It's just how I perceive things. In politics the loudest usually wins. Even if a minority. You're not being loud enough though.

And even then it's not certain. Were not in a democracy on the forums and developing a game is not a democracy either. Bioware simply does what it wants to do. And unless there's a stink equal or greater than the Retake movement nothing will be affected. It takes a lot to move developers at least that's what I've seen.
