The multiplayer is designed to be fun for people to play free from the constraints of single player lore. Dont be so hung up on it. Just enjoy. You have to remember its only a game its not real. So no need for arguing about it. Lets just play

I feel bad for you guys. You're so happy and excited about Volus characters that you'll probably be very disappointed when it turns out to be a dev joke. Not saying it is, but you should calm down a bit and stop trying to insult people that don't like the idea of Volus in MP. (Someone here actually compared disabled people to Volus.)

Volus are not suitable for combat in their normal battlesuits. Simple as that. If they're piloting mechs, they'd be OK. I just doubt that will be the case. Otherwise, they'll be like Varric, moving at absurd speeds with his tiny legs, except amplified due to the even-smaller-stature of the Volus.

The Volus are weak and fragile. The only way they could feasible inter combat is in mechs. I don't see a way around it.

I'm barely keeping track of this thread, but from what I skimmed, its cause its "stupid" or "lore"

Those are not legimatiate reasons, if they are a fun and interesting race that has unique gameplay oppertunties and provides fun and variety for players, that is good enough. Lore does not matter in a loose MP and stupid is just an opinion.

You can argue saying they would be fun is also an opinion, but regardless. I don't see how those are stellar reasons for not including it.

If we're going to use realism, lets ignore that they're a fictional race using fictional technology in a fictional universe.
Lets also ignore things such as bleeding out, a very real possibility in realism.

So no, you can't use realism as an argument, many things in this game series is not realistic.
