EDIT-  I got the help I needed, and I take back what I said for the most part.  EA support is still a joke, but Bioware themselves came out on top.  Thank you.  Going to leave up my original post for future posterity :)



I demand to be able to talk to someone who will help me through this till it is resolved.  It has been over a week since I have been talking to EA Support through Live Chat, and once by email.  Everytime they say they are escalating it to someone higher.  I have been answered once, they needed a screenshot, I provided the screenshot, and then I got no answer since then.  It has been over a week now.

This would not have ever happened if someone at EA support knew what the hell they were talking about.  I asked specifically if I could delete my social account to delete all achievements and specialization unlocks, and then recreate the social account using the same information as before since DLC was linked to EA Master account, and the support person said yes.

Well since I have done that, everytime I try to log in using my EA Master account information, which is the same I used for my Social account information I get this error:

As you can see according to the green text I am already logged into my EA Master Account and is asking me for more information.  So I provided that with my information, and I get that error that is in red with my Email address.  If I try to use a different email address, it comes back with the same exact error message and my real email address is put back in.  The only thing I can do is create a whole new account not associated with my EA Master account, but I lose access to my DLC if I try to use that account, which is this one I am making this post with.

Luckily this is not affecting my game, cause I can log into the game using my EA master account information and have access to my DLC.  But the problem is going to rise when I want to buy DLC, since you need a social account to buy them.  Till this matter is resolved, I won't be buying any DLC, since I won't be able to play with all my DLC together, unless I want them to be on separate accounts.


So EA/Bioware, I demand that you help me.  Give me the information I need to find the help I need.  Currently your EA Support site is complete garbage and has done zero for me in over a week.  All i get is escalated to someone higher, but I never get any answeres.

So what are you going to do for me?

Try clearing your browsers cache and cookies. Restart your browser and try logging in (do not try create) with the EA account you want to use for you DLC. This should get the information from your other account and hopefully skip past the screen in your screenshot and take you straight to the choose name avatar screen during signup.



If this doesn't work please PM me the email address of the account your are trying to recreate and I can dig into this further.

Thank you. Yeah, the cache/cookies have been cleared, and I have restarted the browser and none of that works. Even tried using Internet Explorer, which I never use, so it wouldn't have any of those cookies or cache anyways, and still get the same screen. I have sent you a PM. Thank you for responding.
