Mine is showing promotional weapons as ultra- rare, and the Collector Rifle as a Rare. Did I miss something?

My theory:

The promotional now will come in packs, and the operations will start to work with challenge points, and if we still get packs (+ challenge points), it will come with URs.

That actually sound promising.  Brya did say earlier that the Challenge points will be used in the future by the team.

BTW...does this mean that the Collector Rifle is now available?  It's showing up in the rare spot...but nothing else from the new DLC is.  Was it just a simple move or can it be obtained in the stoe now?

On the bright side, maxing the N7 weaponry is now possible and if the weekend events keep giving weapons as rewards, maxing them will be even faster (though as someone mentioned, weekend events may now give other stuff).

On the downside... NOW MAXING ALL OF MY ULTRA RARES WILL TAKE FOREVER!!!!

What if.....we could use challenge points to buy packs as well.....nevermind that's wishful thinking.

But on the other hand, if we still get operation packs, the commendation should always come with a random UR. But why is the N7 Eagle a UR? Its not THAT great to be classified alongside the talon...or paladin

Highly doubtful, especially with the upcomming DLC.

Hmm it looks like a mistake with the manifests. I have all my UR's at X and only needed N7's to complete the manifest.

Just tried buying 3 psp's thinking a collector rifle would pop up since Rare's are usually quite quick to find. No such luck, guys. This looks like some Bioware Trollage going on.

Collector Rifle now listed as a Rare. Wonder if it will only be unlockable on Tuesday, though. Hmm.

You cant until Tuesday. A dev did say the collector rifle in the dlc is the same as the old promo exclusive one. So its been moved to rare category.

The Collector Rifle is to be included in the Tuesday DLC. You won't be able to unlock it until then. But why group all the N7 promotional weapons into the N7 category?

I'm expecting a huge Balance Change Buff to Collector Rifle after it being revealed in the DLC and now being in the manifests....

I don't think the weekend events are ending, but if you only have one every other week and 40 "slots" to fill (not counting the collector rifle), then you have well over a year to max a manifest (the weekly events went away pretty quickly).

With new weapons being introduced, wouldn't it be better to roll the promotionals into UR (with the collector rifle going to Rare), then draw from a larger pool of URs to award after weekend events, while increasing the chances of a decent level (formerly promotional) UR from the RNG?

For those who have maxed Rares, expect to see a large number of slots taken up by the collector rifle in your next several PSPs.

For me, it means I might be able to get my Hurricane to a decent level and finally get a Valiant.

Now if I could just find where my spare upgrades to the Saber are ...

But then you could possibly get a Harrier or Scorpion from a challenge.
