As long as they were Mass Effect 3 style, where your first [since you're a human being] instinct is to be a dick [Renegade interrupt!] but if you waited it out, you'd have a cooler head ready for a [paragon] interrupt.

Unless we have an archrival like Kai Leng. Then an option to brutally execute him/her during their moment of apparent triumph is a must.

Looks like most of the people would like to have the feature if only changed a bit. And main "con" is - "it's too fast I can not click in time" :)

No, I do not want to see it. But you poll are loaded and not good at voting at.

I do not want to see it, not because of Me3, but because the flashing icon tells me noting about what it will do or what my characther is about to do when I press it.

When I see an enemy NPC standing in front of a window, he folds his arms and says something smug to me, I clearly anticipated pushing him out the window with the renegade interrupt. When I see a character like Garrus extend his hand for a handshake, I know that the paragon interrupt is going to shake his hand.

I think the cinematic designers have done an excellent job conveying the implications of interrupts throughout ME2 and 3. I don't quite understand why people have difficulty, I know it is a subjective thing, but I feel like it is pretty straightforward.

I love interrupts because they are a crucial step forward in Bioware being able to depict the nuance of human behavior and interaction. The interrupt can add emphasis and reaffirm a feeling or action. It gives the player a bit of immediate consequence and tactile feedback.

+1

I saw how ME turned out and no way in hell do I want DA going anywhere near that trainwreak.

Mass Effect isn't a trainwreck...

ME3 certainly was and I don't want DA trying to mimic it. They are seperate games, keep it that way.

Mass Effect 3 was awesome - One of the greatest games I've ever played. If anything, Dragon Age 2 was much more of a trainwreck. The only problem most Mass Effect fans seem to have with ME3 is the ending (Which I personally loved). Anyway - I hope Dragon Age 3 will blow 2 out of the water. I have high hopes and I really hope the Bioware team delivers.

Hurm, well power to you; I think ME3 was absolutely terrible in the majority and really regret ever buying it.

DA2 did fail in a lot of aspects as well but at least it wasn't the final installment of a trilogy.

Hopefully Bioware learned from these two failures.

No ME3 was as stated a trainwreck of horrible storytelling incoherant lazy ending and streamlined RPG features that turned the game into a shooter clone.  DA2 was a much better game .  I never regretted purchasing or playing DA2 even though I hate what the graphics engine did to my Zevran and Alistair and the elves make me puke a little.  I wish I had never played or even heard of ME3.

But for DA3 I would enjoy interrupts similar to how they played out in ME2 as in the interrupts actually change out the way a scene plays out.  The renegade interrupt at Talis hearing was the most amazing soul stirring heart warming stick it to the man speech ever.  Thats how interrupts should work.  In ME3 literally you get a paragon interrupt that does NOTHING but play the interrupt music not once but several times over the course of the game wtf did they even put the interrupt in for if they were not going to use it it made no sense in ME3.

They could use the existing dialogue icons to convey more information.

Things like Image IPB or Image IPB would help make the interrupts clearer.

And it's also important to only put the interrupts in simple situations where there isn't too much ambiguity, and not to use them as a replacement for proper dialogue wheels when it's a normal conversation.
