A realistic tavern? Really?
You mean one where some locals go each evening to have a quiet drink and talk about the days farming or local politics?
The one where the bartender knows his patrons and addresses them by name. He jokes with the locals, but is polite and professional with strangers. He likely has a wife that will cook a meal for some extra money.
The one where there is a cozy fire on cold nights and has a few old men sitting outside on a bench during warm days?
The sort that nothing exciting ever happens in? The one without men in cloaks waiting in dark corners or people seekign the help of strangers to aid in a strange and exotic quest? The one that is open from 2pm till 11pm and then everyone heads home?
The one without floozies, doxies and women of the night looking for clientel?
The one where the city watch never break down the doors looking for escaped prisoners or wanted outlaws?
That "realistic" tavern? Really?

You obviously don't come to the UK very often. The are some pubs around the West Midlands that make the Reaper war sound like a bad argument!

I want a stereo-typical video game tavern and not a realistic one. This is a video game. Make one that's fun for a video game.
now that is what the op should have said:D

Yes if it was based on Cheers, and one of the characters in there better be a Parallel to Norm.

Yes, really. I wouldn't actually mind that at all.
Not everything has to be exciting, it's nice to have places where your character can just have some down time.

I want to play cards with my companions, and maybe be able to periodically choose trash-talk options. And then I want you to sell me a real-world version of the Wicked Grace deck and rules in the Bioware store, which you will make for less than $5 and which I will purchase with joy for $20.
And if I get drunk and then play cards in-game, I want my view to be blurry so that I might accidentally throw the wrong card, and I want my established LI to cart me home and pour me into bed.
I'd also like to play Never-Have-I-Ever with my companions as a way of learning interesting/amusing trivial information about them, subject to good-natured ribbing by other companions.
And once I've exhausted the game banter, I want it to be silent and not repeat, so that I can choose either to keep gaming for fun, or move onto the next part of the game.
