Because of this, my game doesn't upload at all for the profile I want to play. I would simply use the other, but I have 23 hours already spents and I'd prefer to keep my usual profile. So how can I get the Game to stop auto-signing me in? Because of this I cannot create the right account to my e-mail. I've created a new e-mail, linked my DA:O to that e-mail, and changed my Windows Live ID to that new e-mail, but how can I actually resign in as that e-mail in game?
Also, my EA Account of that new e-mail will not let me add my Gamertag as a persona. Is this a key factor to the problem? In other words, do I need this: Gamertag-Linked to-EA Account-Linked to-Bioware Social Account in order to work? Or is the gamertag not required? Can I simply link it by resigning in? Thanks for the help, though I fear I'll be in school before it comes. Please prove me wrong.
12/30/09 EDIT: I finally got it fixed and without any help from the EA people. I might as well share the info so others won't have to depend on their quick and reliable service. The key issue I found out was the personas. Your EA Account must be linked to your gamertag through the persona. My problem was that EA wouldn't let my original e-mail log in, so I had to get a new password, and it allowed me to log in.
It seemed the original e-mail wasn't linked to my persona. So I got pissed, and played AC 2. After a day, I relogged and voila, my gamertag was linked! Great networking, EA! As soon as it was linked, everything worked. So in layman's terms, Gamertag-linked to-EA Account-linked to Bioware Social Account and register the game and you should be set. For those hopelessly confused I hope this helps, though I feel a bit dumb for not figuring it out sooner, I blame EA's bad server.
