Well, you could in DA II. It's just not that interesting there because the staff itself doesn't do a lot of damage and a squishy mage may not be the best character to be in the front lines.

No problem. The mages beat enemies with their staffs in melee in DA2. Isn't that what you wanted?

Yes! that's what i want, but like Dhiro said: It's just not that interesting there because the staff itself doesn't do a lot of damage...
I want the staff (stick... wands its for childs in Harry potter
) do more damage with special combat techniques for magicians only...
I want the DAIII Team do a new especiality for mages! where you fight melee against any enemy!
