How come Bioware never used the other armor types for the Races?

Pity
Honestly, I'm not that exited for the upcoming char releases. I already got my new enemies and new flying Turians, I couldn't care less. Esp considering we won't get any new powers for the TEN other characters

Well the powers are staying, but still being a little hopeful about their appearance
That would only happen if they release updates for the dlc on Tuesdays which they won't do because it costs money on consoles. You can see on the picture that it's the old armor.
It sucks!

What he ^ said. The Turian Ghost was the only character I was looking forward to. The rest...not so much.

Yea it does suck, but the other purpose of this thread was to show Bioware the other Armor sets they could use in future MP DLCs

I actually had more to say, but deleted it because no one reads/responds to my longer posts. Then I knowingly post something short, thinking no one would pay it any attention, and somebody responds. Are you freaking kidding me? Why respond to a pointless post with another?
Anyway, I'm not satisfied with 2 new models and 12 re-skins. On this, I think we can agree. Of the multitude of pre-made from SP armors they can utilize for Multiplayer, they chose to instead re-skin other characters and swap their power sets. You do realize that they're increasing the number of playable character kits by over 33%, right? What does it matter if they've got nothing to distinguish them from the others? These first four characters and the other two Volus are the only *new* characters. The rest are recycled. And that...that is very disappointing. Especially after Earth...
Edit: With this 1 character a week deal they've got going on, I'm sure BW will do something to answer the questions this thread raises. That being said, I think it'd be best to wait until after this next character is released before we start lamenting their appearance/power sets.

You can find these on the Mass Effect Wiki or google. And I agree about swapping Engineer and Soldier armor lol

I've got the suspicion we'll have 4 identical asari to say the least.
At least there's some variation now and then.

Best thing to do now is start a thread asking for more skins and really get the community behind it so in the future it may be possible.

Sorry to break it to you but the new characters will have no new skins. This was confirmed by Bioware in another thread.

Well i was digging in the files and i found in the mp section an eclipse asari armor along with something that said omniblade asari, but i didn't dig much after that, it was late and i was tired.
That's probably for the Omega Mercs, Derek hinted that they weren't done making MP DLC when I PM'd him

I agree, there's lots of resources and no real reason any of our characters have to look exactly the same in the future.

Variation would be great

I wish I was that good with mods.
I got those extra armors from Mass Effect Infiltrator. The Ex-Cerberus we have now are actually using the default armor from the same game, so I'm thinking the MP have access to Infiltrator's models and will use these as well. Although I would think they use a female model for the engineer to help have gender diversity.

It would be cool to see more Ex-cerberus
