About the only thing that seriously staggers you is Incinerate from the Combat Drone and that feels like a "special" ability so I'm OK with that. I don't want to speak too soon, but it didn't totally suck to end up in a U/U/G game vs Geth.
I was able to:
* Revive people without a Prime staggering me
* Punch the odd Rocket Trooper without getting staggered from now until Christmas
* Survive Hunter-to-the-face moments
* Enjoy the game!
That was weird... I think I like it.
