I always thought the origins would have been so epic (and your recruitment by Duncan make so much more sense) with NG+. I'd love to see it in DA:I, where your reputation for bad-assery could be justified in your second run.

Yes, let there be a new game + feature.

New Game plus would be very welcoming.

I just keep an early game save and re-play their game from that.Dirgegun wrote...
I'm all for New Game Plus! There's been a few times where I've felt like re-playing my canon Warden or Hawk, but haven't been able to really do that because there's no option to just load the same character back into the game.
I don't know where this mechanic comes from or why it's so popular, but IMO it makes no sense in an RPG. Part of the fun of an RPG is striving towards the next level.

The low levels of RPGs are kind of boring IMO. And really, it rarely makes sense for the power disparity between the start and end to be quite as great as is portrayed.
In DA2, there'd still have been plenty of space to level up even in NG+. Though that wouldn't have been the case in Origins.

This would be completely wasted for me, and any efforts from the developers on this feature wouldn't increase my enjoyment at all, just so you know. Not saying that others can't like it, just pointing out that some people don't care for it.

So keep a save from level 5 or 10 or whatever and start again from there?Wulfram wrote...

If that's the case on repeat playthroughs, it's the case on the first. Why bother balancing a game's combat if repeat playthroughs are all going to be unbalanced? And really, it rarely makes sense for the power disparity between the start and end to be quite as great as is portrayed.
