Meist_chef, at least with someone like that you know what you are getting. I'd rather acknowledge someone that is honest (even if always negative), than to acknowledge 2-faced snakes in the grass. I think it is hypocritical.

However, BSNers in general have got to be some of the most negative, overly critical ****s any gaming board has ever seen.
Then you've seen exactly one gaming board.

As a developer I think they'd rather see these so-called "2-faced snakes" because they provide some kind of feedback:
- if the game features something new or something they wanted, they approve
- if the game has something they wanted fixed and it isn't, they whine
Being negative all the time means there's no valuable feedback from them at all, because no matter what you do this group remains dissatisfied, eg:
- if the game features something new or something they wanted, they whine
- if the game has something they wanted fixed and it isn't, they whine
Are you seriously telling me you'd rather have the 2nd group of people?
edit: Also, I fail to see how someone who's sometimes positive/negative is necessarily less honest than someone who's always negative.

I don't like you guys, well at least most of you. What I have noticed about the people on this site, is that you guys are so cynical, so overly critical of everything BW does, it really is something that annoys me to no end about RPG fans in general. The attitudes on this board are terrible, but here's the kicker. AS SOON as BW announces something or anything you remotely approve of, you do a complete 180 and become the biggest nutswingers the galaxy has ever known.
Its no wonder Bioware devs have had enough of you clowns, talk about some two-faced people. BIOWARE DOESN'T OWE ANY OF YOU A DAMN THING. So get that in your head. Thank you.
There are always nitpickers around, but making "mistakes" like bioware did in the past empowers them to speak for the majority.
Also if you manage to alienate the of core your fanbase, they will to the very least stop defending you. Letting you alone to deal with the critics. Even worse your fans will join them.
This should balance itself out in time though. Its up to bw.

No, I'd rather not be around either, but unlike me, BW seems beholden to please even these most undeserving people from etiher control group.

I really kinda pisses me off that these people may have had a significant impact on the future of BW games, will we ever even see masterpieces like KoToR, Jade Empire or DA1 again. It really annoys me man.

If a significant portion of your customers are pissing you off, you have only a few real choices:
- suck it up and try to please them and stay in business
- tell them to f off; get out of the business

OR you make the game that you as a company have been known for, and your true fans will support you as they have. Tell everyone else to **** off if they don't like it.
Now I know that in business certain concessions must be made, but despite popular belief the customer is NOT always right.
@corporal_doody - There you go, let the anger out. Maybe you should do better to do so in the future. help me pick up a torch and burn some of these leeches off.
