Oh, the white knighting is almost blinding in this thread.
If only the people who worked at Bioware were grown adults that could handle criticism and defend their own thoughts, so OP wouldn't have to take on the burden.
RightManChea is actually Ray Muzyka or Greg Zechuk.

You do realize we all sunk a decent chunk of change into something we can't return to the store once opened, right? Do they owe us anything, as in obligated? Probably not, but they do want us to continue buying their products, so in that sense it behooves them to try and make us happy customers.
Bioware does have motivations to TRY and make their customer base satisfied, that is true. However, there is a difference between dissatisfaction and entitlement, a difference that I think many would do well to learn.

I was not disappointed. Thanks for the chuckle, OP.

yes, and anonymous dissatisfaction becomes entitlement when you are allowed to express it publicly in an angry fashion.
they knew this when they decided to allow fan feedback. its part of it.
like some people have said, most people dont go to a restuarant and fill out a survey because they ahd a great experience, but if they have a bad one, they don't even think about it. This is similar, except theres even less hoops to jump through to express your opinion.
its just human nature, and part of the reason is the service being good is it is EXPECTED. Its not wrong to expect quality when you spend your money. am i saying bioware's product isn't quality? no.

There's also a grey area between dissatisfaction and entitlement.
You make it seem like life is all clear cut.

Surely you must be joking, you are the most negative SOB I have ever met on a forum.
While I may agree with you that this forum is quite very negative...(here comes some more critical negativity) posting about it will do nothing bring attention to yourself and ignight the flamers...which is a stupid thing to do...even if you do want attention...<_<

I agree, there is. It's like the old moniker that "The customer is always right", as a small business owner myself, let me say, no they are not. You have people that will be difficult just to be so, you have liars and dishonest people that will misrepresent things intentionally, you have customers who are undeducated about the product they are purchasing, you have legitimately stupid individuals, this alone makes it an impossibility for the customer to always be right.
@Yajuu Omoi I honestly don't care if I have any of these peoples' attention. My purpose for this thread is clear. I have stated such already.

You got some issue that you need take else where. Cause you basically made yourself look like a complete fool coming off as disrespectful to an entire community of ppl you don't even know at all. Just spare yourself the embarrassment and walk in shame. Though I agree that the community can be harse sometimes.
Turn your attentions elsewhere then fool.

I don't like you guys, well at least most of you. What I have noticed about the people on this site, is that you guys are so cynical, so overly critical of everything BW does, it really is something that annoys me to no end about RPG fans in general. The attitudes on this board are terrible, but here's the kicker. AS SOON as BW announces something or anything you remotely approve of, you do a complete 180 and become the biggest nutswingers the galaxy has ever known.
Its no wonder Bioware devs have had enough of you clowns, talk about some two-faced people. BIOWARE DOESN'T OWE ANY OF YOU A DAMN THING. So get that in your head. Thank you.
People do that all the time about everything. Which is why I only side with people who are not like that.

Ha, I knew there was something else to it.
It's not just about Bioware and their games.

No offense Meistr, but what epiphany have you thus stumbled upon? Please do not discredit the intentions of this thread by suggesting that me being an IT major and small business owner means anything significant at all in regards to my opinions. It is not as if I am no longer a BW fan and a customer of this series as well.

Not an epiphany, just a somewhat confirmed suspicion that you have other reasons for being so adamant about Bioware being slaves to all their customers.
edit: I work as an engineer in real life, and in many ways my personality drove me towards that career, and the work also has a mutual effect on my personality.

Honestly dude, you are seeing something that isn't there. I simply stated my background to preface why it is that I understand that customers are not always right. What you are essentially implying would pretty much invalidate my entire argument, as if I somehow am defending Bioware over some sort of small business support group lol.

OR you make the game that you as a company have been known for, and your true fans will support you as they have. Tell everyone else to **** off if they don't like it.
Really? Mass market a game and then publicly tell the customers who dislike your game for whatever reason to eff off? You've obviously never run a large business before.
