Out of curiosity, there's a fan video here that completely cuts out the Catalyst gameplay section, jumping from the cutscene where Shep and Anderson are talking to the Crucible deploying (destroy ending.) It's just a video edit. Is there any way to do that in-game, skip over the Catalyst?
That definitely interests me as well.
Well, that would be more difficult since the whole catalyst desaster stretches over multiple files and at the moment, I am not sure how they are linked exactly. That said, we are learning more stuff every day (the more people contribute, the faster it goes) and I am rather confident that figuring something like that out would only be a matter of time.

This thread has helped rekindle my interest in replaying ME3's singleplayer. OP, if I knew who you were IRL, I'd send you a chocolate bundt cake.
I'm afraid it wasn't meant as a reunion but rather as flashbacks, Shepard has in the moment of his death. You can hear him breathing out again right before the credits roll and that's it. A reunion video would take more time and consideration.LoganKey wrote...
That's a pretty good proof of concept. The video fo course doesn't -quite- work because they're compilations of past scenes... it's not really a 'reunion'. But one could easily create new slides by using artwork done by deviantartists
The ultimate dream of course is if we could create our own content, but I dunno how realistic that is given that it took years to restore the cut content from KotorII
I made this one in approximately 30 minutes so it is not very well thought out (basically I just took a youtube video and converted it, I only wanted to test my modding procedure). I think there are several ways to approach the limitations. Doing things in-engine would obviously be the best solution but rewriting a cooked kismet script from scratch is a rather daunting challange. With a little bit of imagination and creativity, there are ways around this though. It's all up to the community to make fitting videos now.
I mean, just look at what this guy did with ME2 (I got no idea how he did it but it's brilliant). Even with switching a couple of models around and changed dialogue to reimagine existing scenes from ME2/3, you can do incredible stuff.
Oh, by the way, I have set up the new thread for questions/discussion in that regard.
