Operations are cool, but you have to admit they usually make little sense and I found myself wondering what the craziest, most impossible, or most awesome Operations would look like. Here are a few of my ideas:


Operation Petticoat

While the Krogan are formidable warriors, they lack in discipline and find it hard to cooperate with others. Therefore the top brass have decided, after consulting with the Salarian and Turian top experts on the Krogan, to undertake an operation aiming at improving those skills.

Squad goal:

Succesfully complete extraction on any difficulty on Firebase Reactor with a team of Kroguards in matching pink-and-gold outfits, using only a shotgun, while moving clockwise across the map according to a carefully prepared choreography, which you will be briefed on as the operation begins.

Allied goal:

At least 250000 succesful extractions with any Krogan kit. Say MRAAAAWWH! at least 5000000 times.


Special reward:

Custom outfit: a pink tutu with matching shoes, one size fits all, XXXXXL

Operation Fetch

Apparently the signals from our drones are interfering with the wiring on our ships, resulting in many crashes. We will have to take action on that, but first, we need to recover all our drones from various crash sites.

Special circumstances:

All waves will be Escort waves, with the 3rd, 6th and 10th wave including Geth Prime Drones which can and have to be escorted to a pick-up site for later examination by our top experts. Be advised: the Geth Prime Drones WILL fire on you and you can NOT cloak or they will just wander away to find another target.

Squad goal:

Succesfully escort a total of at least 10 allied drones and 3 Geth Prime drones to safety. Succesfully extract with full squad on wave 11.

Allied goal:

Escort a total of 1 million allied and Geth Prime drones to safety.

Special reward:

Guaranteed drop of one UR weapon you have not yet unlocked or, if you have all UR weapons unlocked, an upgrade for any UR weapon you played with during the operation in the Victory pack IF the Allied goal is achieved.

Operation Gambit

Word has reached us that a number of Geth Primes, currently part of a force occupying Firebase White, have grown concerned due to our repeated attacks and have reconsidered their subservience to the Reapers and now wish to defect to our side. It is up to you to escort these defectors to safety so we can debrief them. Of course, the Reapers will do everything they can to stop us from taking control of some of their best assets. Anticipating this, we have made available additional resources to support you.

Special circumstances:

Every 3rd and 10th wave is an escort mission involving a Geth Prime. Banshees may appear in any wave against any enemy to stop you from achieving your objective. On Firebase White all engineers are unable to fire missiles, but can instead call upon air support. Keep in mind that you must avoid collateral damage, as there is no such thing as 'friendly' fire, aerial bombardment CAN kill your own units and damage the Geth Primes.

Squad objective:

Successfully extract with a full team on any difficulty.

Allied objective:

Escort at least 250.0000 Geth Primes to safety.

Special Reward:

If the Allied objective is achieved, engineers will retain the ability to call in air strikes on open areas of any map.
