I think my guys have gotten a disease, they all have a rainbow of colors eminating from their bodies... How do i get rid of this or cure it... thanks...

It's not a disease. It's all your Sustained abilities. The only way to get rid of it is to turn them all off.

If you are on PC, there's a mod called the Personal Annoyance Remover that turns all those annoying effects off. Highly recommended!

yah get the mod to turn that crap off..I hate games that have this honestly..I don't like my characters looking like christmas tree's..it's a major turn-off

I use that mod and have done a full game with no adverse effects. Recommended it really improves the play by fixing an annoying feature. The mod actually limits the time the animation is shown so you can see if it is activated.
