They absolutely are, and it's EASY for you to verify.
Go to your manifest, and go to the character section. Right click on an image (any class works, but Human Female Adept is easy) and open it in a new window.
Look at the URL. Change the class name to AdeptVolus, AdeptKrogan, AdeptBatarian, SoldierGeth, EngineerVolus, EngineerTurian, EngineerVorcha, SentinelVolus, SentinelAsari, InfiltratorDrell, InfiltratorAsari,VanguardVolus, or VanguardBatarian (each followed by .png) and it will give you the exact same set of images as above.
Quit calling them bad photoshop jobs. They're hosted on Bioware/EA's site.
EDIT: I noticed that the images aren't shaped like the others for other characters. As others have noted, we're missing 3 characters, as well. This may be a slight decoy, because it's unlikely that these are actually the images that they'll have in the manifest, since they're shaped wrong, and there isn't a reason to upload images that won't be used.
EDIT2: Disregard Edit 1. The images for some of the more recent releases are shaped the same as the Retaliation images. Still not sure on the three missing classes. They're probably characters that have another race in that class already, because the Asari Adept is AdeptAsari and the Justicar is AdeptAsariCommando.
EDIT 3: not sure what to think now. The new images are wider than their counterparts from Rebellion. Strangeness abounds!
