Actually, it makes perfect sense.  If you have to spend all of that time to design special animations and mechanics for a character like they would for the Volus, why wouldn't they clone the model and get more bang for their buck?  It would make far less sense to put forth all of that effort for only one character.

You can debate whether or not Volus make sense to begin with, but if they actually did it, it makes more business sense for them to have four than one.

If they are real, then Bioware wasted resources on them and just re-used the same armor for the other new characters. That's really disappointing

I think we're missing the three Turians here, as I heard information about a new Turian soldier, Turian Vanguard, and a Turian Infiltrator.

There is a chance my information about a Turian vanguard is faulty, but the other two turians are mentioned in the announcement post.

Drell Infiltrator is going to be OP. Calling it. With TC Damage Bonuses+Homing Grenade under cloak. Add the Piranha into the mix and we are in for some fun.

Everything here checks out (except that bit about a Turian Vanguard), and it seems like the last class we don't know of is listed as "Quarian Marksman", although it is unclear which class this Quarian will be in. My guess is for Soldier, but that is only my opinion.

We really dont need a quarian solider as the engineer is pretty much a solider same with the geth but I guess its their desicion

Unless the Turian Engineer is actually the Havoc Soldier. It would make sense for him to have tech powers with the whole jump pack and all.

Yeah? have you heard of the Geth Infiltrator? piranha proxy mine tc combo is op. Dont nerf the drell seriously, he needs that extra punch.

If there's a Turian Saboteur, next to the Havoc and Ghost, isn't he (she?) more likely to be an engineer rather than a Vanguard? Up to this point they have only really been using cheesy names for the new characters, and Saboteur sounds more techy? What's a Vanguard going to sabotage? Your face?

A volus is jusr bearley plausable i mean thay can hold a gun at least unlike hanar and elcor. It's only the hieght thats a problem.

In me1 at least volus were chest high to a human, they should be fine. They will actually be at a huge advantage firing from cover as only like a third of their body will be exposed.

Drell are strong alredy, you just have to know how to make 'em dance 
(But yes, more Drell, more fun!)
