Regarding the size/aspect ratio difference: it looks like the Rebellion images were never cropped to fit the manifest frames.  Look carefully at your manifest and you'll see that they stick out.  So if those Rebellion images were "good enough" then these likely are, too, even though they don't match the originals or those from Earth.

So it's probably just a lazy image processing job by someone on the website team.
