It's also only the image on the character card. We have no idea how they'll work in game. Realistically, since all characters so far are the same height, they'll have bigger suits that make sense in a battle. They're... they're more machine than Volus now...El_Chala_Legalizado wrote...

Surely that makes much more sense than a volus engineer, considering that they can't run very fast, and so charge would help them get around the field. Also; we have met about 3, maybe 4 volus in the whole of ME.
Who's to say that they don't have some prototype armor, or even just armor in general, since all of the others wear a 'civilian' outfit.
Thanks.
And there you go, vanguards make the most sense of all the volus classes.

I kind of agree that a Vorcha engineer is ridiculous, but I'm hoping he's more of the 'good at breaking technology' variety rather than a 'can build ****' engineer. Forget the game, but some character's description was "Tried to be an engineer, but broke everything he tried to build or repair. Decided to be good at that instead."

Wrong, the shape of the characters changes in some cases. This is the pic of the Vorcha Soldier:Zero132132 wrote...
The images definitely are a sort of prototype. They're not in the right shape to be character cards. Maybe it IS actually a troll/decoy by Bioware. If those aren't the images that'll actually be in the manifest, then why would they be uploaded already?

Salarian Engineer, one of the original classes:

That's strange... only the Vorcha, Male Quarians, and Ex-Cerberus use that format. The Earth DLC reverted to the round sides.

But the others have to move around by their walking, which is very slow, whereas the vanguards can charge around.

But I do admit, Biotic Volus? Stretching it! Makes me think something is up.
But then... I lol'd at the Reddit leak/post and dismissed it as fake. But it predicted everything... The Dragoon.. The Map Hazards.. The Turians...The Collectors...
The only thing that has not come to pass, is the Volus. We can only wait and see!

Damn it, why do we need FOUR Voluses? I could understand one for the "lol, biotic god" adept, but four? That just a waste of space that other characters could have been put in instead.

Yeah, you're right. All of the other cards have curved edges, while these don't. This means that these are almost certainly not the final images Bioware will be using on the manifest or in character cards. And like you said, if that's the case, then why have they been uploaded?
Realizing this, I'd say the odds that this is trolling by Bioware have gone up significantly.
You got to remember they have been changing the manifests, getting ready for the dlc coming. They did mess up by putting the Promo weapons in Ultra section. So maybe they have uploaded them legit in preparation

There is NOTHING to suggest that volus cannot be biotics.
Just because we haven't seen them in game doesn't mean that they don't exist, e.g. , we haven't seen turian biotics in game yet too, but we know they exist.

Every organic being can actually be biotic. All it requires is exposure to element zero. That just has the unfortunate side effect of often just killing you instead which makes biotics rare in most species except Asari.
However, simply being rare has never been a case for not being included in MP, such as the Battlemaster or Justicar(Samara confirms that there are so few that the order might not survive the Reaper War).

Except that, up to this point, Bioware has not been willing to invest the resources to make entirely new character models. The Geth, Batarians, Asari Justicar, Kroguard, Male Quarians, and Vorcha were all based off existing models. I believe even the Ex-Cerberus were based off a model from that Infiltrator game.
I'd say the odds of Bioware investing the resources to create entirely new character models, and all the animations that go with them, just to put Volus in MP are extremely low.
Either the Volus are going to be a joke, or they are going to use a (possibly modified) model that already exists.
