Because we all know that someone else's opinion that isn't yours makes it invalid. And, No, OP. Kroguards do not need a nerfing.

Seriously dude, you're wrong. Absolutely everyone agrees, you're wrong. The kroguard excels at his one role: tanking. He's a mediocre damage dealer who's really, really good at not getting killed. His job is to not get killed and pull fire while the rest of the team does the shooting. If he's "stealing your kills" (which, btw doesn't matter in a co-op game unless you're another krogan or a vorcha) then you're doing something wrong.

I will correct you on one thing. He is not a mediocre damage dealer anymore with Rage being fixed. He is an insanely high damage dealer. I specced mine to be a melee/tank, and I can easily top the boards against any faction on gold without it even being close. His weakness in regards to damage is obviously Atlas/Banshee/to a lesser extent Brutes since it's trickier to apply that melee damage to those units. Anything else is fodder and will get demolished by his super rage buffed heavy melee. Well, Primes do take a little time but at least you can face tank them and constantly heavy melee without worry.
The Kroguard's role is indeed to be a main tank, and he does it ridiculously well. But with the right tactics and in the right hands, he's also got potential to utterly destroy anything in his path. The last couple times he was balanced was based on Rage not working. Now that Rage works, they're gonna have to bring him down to earth a bit and I'm okay with that.

While I agree that the kroguard can be a pretty good damage dealer, bolded part goes for pretty much anything.

Agreed, but no other class is like the Kroguard in that his role is to tank but can also be a damage monster if you use him right. Even if you don't use him right, he's still an awesome tank. If you don't use a Destroyer right, you lose his only aspect. Damage. If you don't use Adepts right, you lose their crowd control/bio explosions. Most classes are not multi-faceted. If you don't use their one ability where they excel properly, you lose the benefit of using the class. With a Kroguard, you just have to mash Y and you stay alive. That aspect is pretty hard to lose. Being able to dole out amazing damage on top of that is just silly.
I hate to use a WoW reference here, but could you imagine if prot-specced Warriors also potentially out-damaged Fury/Arms warriors? That would be considered overpowered, and this instance is no different.
I'm not trying to defend the OP or anything, just adding my two cents as a good Kroguard player.

Geth can stagger Kroguard now, so NO
stagger is nothing, a Kroguard can just biotic charge their barrier back and go on meleeing, stagger provides absolutely no nerf at all unless it can be followed up with a kill move.
and Kroguards kill steal in geth games, dont deny it, its true. No one ever gets a chance to kill anything or get points because Kroguards decimate geth matches, the only time they are on equal fitting with everyone else is a reaper game and its ONLY because of Banshees.

With rage he's got very high single target damage, but you're giving up barriers for rage bonuses and there's still the issue of time - you can only melee one enemy at a time, so a group of several mooks will tie up a kroguard for awhile, as opposed to an adept who can just singularity them all and detonate to wipe them out in three seconds.
