Okay please don't bring up ME3 ending this is about DA3. Bioware and specifically the people working on DA3 I want an  option (since I am pretty sure there will be multiple endings) many people like them and while the choice is yours I would greatly appreciate a happy ending anyone agree

Edit I said an option for a happy ending ALRIGHT AN OPTION there would be a bittersweet option and a horrible option and by happy option I mean hero lives and LI as well but there could be something bad during the game like someone close dying half way through but I would like a happy ending at the end
So remember I Said AN OPTION FOR A HAPPY ENDING KEYWORD OPTION

Happy endings don't come with a guarantee of artistic integrity.

Tragic endings are far more emotionally powerful and memorable. Bittersweet is the happiest I'd like.

I would like a bad ending also. I would like to beable to beat the game but let it end in as the world is in chaos, but I would also like a ending where I felt like I did good and made a difference in the game.

All in all, I would just be happy to have a ending where I do not have to kill the leaders of both sides that I could chose to help. As long as it is not a DA2 ending, I will be happy.

Like I said I just want an option to have one

I can appreciate a happy ending. But often, with RPGs and fantasy worlds, I like a little darkness and shadow mixed in. So a not-so-happy, isn't-riding-off-into-the-sunset final scene is fine with me. If the journey to get to the last scene was a good one (meaning there was purpose, I felt carried along on the journey), then I can feel ok about the end, even if there are more tears than triumphant poses.

Why? At least he isn't a stick-in-the-mud like Loghain.

Darknightholmes I think Allistar being king when he is hardened is good but if he wasn't I like him as an LI with the warden retiring

Yes because Loghain is Alistair's competition to the throne. /sarcasm

Anora is 10x a better ruler and Alistair is going to be Eamon's tool.

That is why I always make him marry Anora. I think he is a good person and the people will love him. I do not think he could run the kingdom, but I believe Anora can handle that part for him.

If Alistair is king, Anora is the ruler and he represents. So, where is the problem.

Well you didn't specify Anora in your post so I presumed you meant solo Alistiar. Beside even the Warden is a better ruler than Alistair.

Happy endings aren't good when done poorly either.

A well-done tragic ending, such as in The Godfather or The Godfather Part II, is better than a  well-done happy ending.

I want to feel like it's a Victory. I'm OK with sacrifice, including of the PC, so long as they go out as a hero and seem like they're achieving something worth it.

Bittersweet endings are really hard to get right because you can't have it too depressing or too happy to be a bittersweet ending and to be honest if they do multiple endings they shoul try to make a range of endings like bad happy and stuff in between but to get a bittersweet ending done great it is a b**** I have never done it well since it takes a perfect balance of stuff to make a great bittersweet ending

Schindler's List, Gladiator, True Grit (remake), The Dark Knight, District 9, Braveheart, and Inglourious Basterds all had outstanding Bittersweet endings. I can agree that they are hard to pull off, though.

Loghain is a better character than Alistair, IMO.

Millkill gladiator had the perfect bittersweet ending. But schindlers list was a true story so the bittersweet ending shouldn't count but yeah there are some bittersweet endings that are great but it is really hard to write them and for video games it is very risky.
