Who is your hero and why?

Besides both of my own parents, I will say it is a local man from our church. His wife was murdered; mugged in her home, stabbed to death, and the house and body were set on fire to try and cover the crime.



In all this time, he has not missed services afaik, and attends all the court trials w/o harboring any apparent ill will towards the criminals in question. And they were all neighbors of his from a nearby trailer court.



Truly sad, and a testament of his heroic spirit; far greater than mine.
