Because you think about being cold, by dwelling on it it makes you think no matter what you are not warm. I hope you don't mean in an emotional sense.
What should I have for lunch? Seriously?

Why is there air?
#169
Posté 02 janvier 2010 - 11:21
it involves the specific heat of the compounds and elements that make up air. in specific for earth, it involves mostly CO2, O2, and N2, with some others have a noticeable presence as well. the ambient temperature of earth at any given time is such that the specific heat of the volume of the atmosphere, for its specific combination of constituents is exceeded. being exceeded, that volume of those compounds is vaporized. this works conjunction with the partial pressure balance of the atmosphere and dissolved gasses in (mostly) the ocean. although, the dissolved gasses are more a result than and an effect.

Because there's more than 1 atomic composition that can still be under the general classification of 'mineral' thus allowing for more variety in properties & attributes.
How do you make those Hyperlinks that can be clicked to go to a site & yet have custom wording, like 'Clicky' & such? (I take it my last question sucked, so I hope this one's better.)

@ the_one: Because without variety, life would be boring. Hey, what sort of answer did you expect?
@ Tyrax: See the old Bioware forums FAQ here. Scroll down to the section on URL linking under 3.04 Magical Text Formatting Stuff You can do on the BioBoards and immediately after Increase your posting Kung-fu with URLs. It's applicable to this site as well. I was going to post the actual code here but it kept auto-formatting to an actual unclickable link, much to my frustration.
Question: Why are people infinitely picky about physical appearance when it comes to relationships? My attitude has always been that while attractiveness is nice, after 20 years everyone gets gray hair, wrinkles, spotty skin and beer bellies, and not to mention that whether you like it or not, things are going to sag. It's just been a no-brainer for me so I really can't understand why it has to be a big issue for some. Clarification or serious counter-arguments to my POV are much appreciated.

I'm Shawn, and im 17...just to answer some previous Q's
Physical appearance. I guess its just something in our DNA. Also, i think guess are more picky on wether or not a girl is attractive, but im not a girl so they may be the same, idk. I for one in a relationship firmly believe you kinda need to be attracted to your other in some way or the other. I dont know what any of you look like but Im sure I could get along with alot of girls here. We already have videogames in common!!! And that would be a big deciding factor for me...maybe moreso than appearance. If you cant game your out...
Maybe im not the best person to answer your question but i try.
Just in case someone decides to post at the same moment but just before me screw you(i dont mean it). All of this would go for none then...
And for my question: What do you look for in a girl/guy?

I shall list in hopefully a top to not so top order. Sense of humor (needs to understand the greatness of the occasional sillyness. I've been won over many a time by this.), the ability to laugh at one's self, fairly cool head (know I can count on her when things go sideways), likes to discuss (not argue for argues sake), is cool with occasional alone time, not jealous, runs pretty close to on time (half hour late tops, I'll just say we should leave a half hour before we really need to to fix that), Sees the validity of differing opinions and finally can put her feet behind her head. Not really, it's not a thing I look for, but it would in all honesty be a plus. I just wanted to see if you read it all. the above post pertains to what I look for in a girl.
I will recycle, what do you look for in a romantic partner?
