As impressive as it may be there's one thing though.

Kira is a God modder.
Near Season finale goes around blowing stuff up and hurts no one, because principle.
I call bull****. Stopped watching there because OH COME ON! You're slicing robots up and firing 10 ton nuclear ballistic wangs at people! You gotta get a frigging casualty count dammit!!

Wasn't the world saved with music in some macross series?
... I actually may have some old Macross VHSes here somewhere...

Thing is Macross has nothing on Cyborg 009! See it and weep brutha!

Music is a staple of Macross. While in some series it's more important than others, it's one of the pillars of the series. In my favorite Macross series, Macross 7, the heroes are a band and literally fight the aliens with music. Disturbed doesn't have crap on Fire Bomber.

If it wasn't for nostalgia, I'd say Macross Frontier was at least on par with the original Macross. But to each, his/her own. :)

Old style looks with modern animation? Seems promising!

But see, this is how testosterone is made

Agreed. Threads like these are what popcorn was invented for.

You call it god modding, I call it Superior Evolutionary Element Destined-factor.

But if you REALLY want magic, I got that too.

I don't mean to hate or whatever, but magical, animated, meant-for-VERY-young-audience-preferably-girls-but-of-course-not-limited-to, miniature horses known as "ponies" shouldn't have any relation to an epic, adult-oriented, deep, immersive, well-developed, violent, serious, third-person, RPG such as Mass Effect. I mean I guess the only REAL relation would be the Space Magic at the end of ME3 but well, let's not count that. This comment will probably get deleted but this thread peaked my interest because I'm trying to write an essay and I can't concentrate and I never understood what the whole "brony" thing was about. But this thread has taught me nothing... ALAS! My confusion continues.

When did this become random tv show thread? There are loads of pilot-based old cartoons.

Can you elaborate on that? I'm honestly curious.

As for bronies.... it's used to label males who enjoy the show, that's all there is to it. AFAIR it was born out of "Bro" (to say male) and "Pony", thus brony.

To save yourself trouble, just shun it the same way you do with Barney and Bob the Builder.

Because it's the same thing, honestly.

Looks something out of .Hack sign. Tsukasas model looks like that.
Literally fell off the series when GU got published only in ****** and US.
Still bitter about that.

Love the series, still got Infection, mutation, outbreak and quarantine pristine as games and the DVDs that came with that. Also got the Another birth novels and AI buster novels (Literally my favorite books.) Sign was also a good series. Root... well twas iffy... tabby was annoying though.

Also I believe this thread has been properly hijacked by anime fanatics... good times.

After hearing a rather annoying pony arguement, I've decided to make a sequel to the show.
The glue factory.

Sorry if I derailed your thread...I was just trying to compare what I was interested in when I was at your age (assuming you are between 15-20).

Ok so don't hate me for this, but my little pony to me, seems just so... well, childish. I mean I've talked to bronies before and they say they are legitimately interested in the plot, but I just don't see how its possible. I mean I guess its just cause I don't understand, but I feel like the show doesn't, and shouldn't have anything that relates to adults. Sure I watch cartoons and such, but I think of it differently. Take Adventure Time for example, the show is wierd as ****, and has this subtle, adult-humor. Kids who watch it aren't old enough to understand, but teenagers and adults can chuckle at that show and say "HAHA! They did not just say "I want you inside me" (That seriously happens in an episode). And as for other kids shows I watch from time to time, are purely because they were what I grew up with, and I enjoy the sense of nostalgia. Anyway, point being, isn't mlp reletively new? If so, then adults wouldn't get any sense of nostalgia and I'm not entirely sure if there is subtle humor in that show or not, but I just can't see how it relates to adults, let alone adult-oriented games like Mass Effect, Skyrim, Halo, Borderlands, Assassin's Creed, etc. (All of which are my favorite games, and all of which I've seen a myriad of mlp fan art for.) (Did any of that make sense? Probably just to me huh?)

I thought there was already a thread for this in off topic, where it honestly belongs.

(on a side note, lol at a thread that starts with "inb4gay". What could possibly go wrong)
