I recently acquired DA:O for Christmas and on the back it says that $15 worth of DLC is included. I was wondering if it is already preset in the game or if I would have to do something else to unlock it. Please help for I am very confused...

Open up the game. There is card in it with instructions.

If the game was brand new and not pre-owned, it should come with onre or two cards describing DLC for DA:O. Upon the cards are codes (one card is double sided with a code on each side). These codes must be entered from within the game itself and NOT from the Live Marketplace. Once you enter the code from a given card, it will be available for download, again from within the game itself.

The only thing I can suggest is to exchange it for another copy, as yours is defintely missing parts. The retailer should honor the exchange as you did not receive all of the goods you paid for. May I ask if your game was sealed in shrink wrap or was it opened as some retailers are apt to do these days (supposedly to counter theft). If it was opened before you purchased it as I mentioned, they will most likely honor it and swap it out for another copy. If you can, ask for a shrink-wrapped copy.
