I'm having an issue during the play of Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer, in particular during the map of Rio.
The problem is that during the play, and without any warning I lost all the graphics and all the screen was filled with vertical stripes in pink, or one color like that.

I checked the drivers of my graphic card, and I have the latest. And the AMD Vision Engine Control Center options and everything is correct, other thing about this problem is that I lost the entire system and the only way to retore the graphics was forcing a restart.
It's the first time that this happened to me, and I think that maybe the latest patch could be involved.

My system specs are:
  • Windows 7 Professional 64 bits SP1
  • Motherboard ASUS M4N78
  • Graphic Card ATI XFX HD Radeon 4890 1Gb DDR5
If you need anything more about the problem please tell me.

I have the same problem with HD Radeon 5570, just in the same map.

contact xfx they should be able to provide you with some downloadable test files to "test" the problem on your gfx card, i had similar issues with grafics cards (all makes/modles) back when a lot of them were made with dodgy capacitors /vrm's (late modle 4XXX up to mid range 6xxx for amd and mid range 4xx to late range 5xx for nvidia) currently i'm running a 7870 without issues (other than rio crashing all the sodding time)

it sounds like from what your describing either your experianceing a vrm fault or your mobo has a dodgy capacitor (going on my past experiances where both have happened) anyhow theres a bunch of diagnostic tests that can be performed which wont invalidate your warrenty (assuming you still have one) but which should prove one way or the other, just be aware if they send you a bios update for your gfx card theres a fair to good chance it will brick the thing (if its dodgy vrm's) and mean your left going down the rma route.

perhaps not what you wanted ot hear however its best ot be prepared for the inevitable hardware failure of older systems :)

Thanks for the response, I'll test everything to see what the hell is going on with the graphic card.
