What do you think you'll name your dog in DA3?

Tell me. Assuming there is a dog (it seems like a tradition so far).
I called mine Jimbob in the last two games, and I'm likely to do it again. What about you?

Who says it will be a dog? It could be a big cat this time or giant lizard for all we know.

I'm fond of naming my mabari Dragonslayer. The name just works for me, as my more recent Origins and DA2 playthroughs have all had the mabari with that name.

One of my early mabari was named Wrex, but it just isn't the same.

For variety, I wouldn't mind if the next pet was some kind of panther or tiger.  I'd have to try to resist naming them Ser Pouncealot.

Maybe it WILL be something different. But I very seriously doubt it.

If it's a cat, I'll name it Doggie. If it's a dog, I'll name it Kitty. If it's a giant lizard, I'll call it Fred.

No. If it's a cat, everyone must love it, and squeeze it, and call it George.
Or else...

EDIT : And if it's a nug, I must call it Meatshield.
MUST.

Chewy.

He will be named after my lovely and beautiful lab. I had to put him to sleep because he had a brain tumor...:crying:

Best dog I ever had and almost human smart. He use to love watching me play Dragon Age. In his memory, we shall free Thedas together.

Long live Dog! Bring him back Bioware!

I always named my mabari "Saren". My characters in Dragon Age are named after people in Mass Effect, and the characters in ME are named after people in DA.

My Warden's Mabari is always called Bartholomew, and he sires a puppy in Lothering on the way to Ostagar who the Hawkes name Pistachio.

I guess I'll have to see how I'm feeling. Though I tend to like whimsy. He might be called Pure B!tch Braid.

If there is an animal we get to name, his name will be Spanish.

But honestly I hope we don't have another Mabari. I'd rather get a new humanoid companion than another dog

Whether it be a dog, or cat, or lizard, or chimera, or wyvern, if it has four legs and stands waist high, it will be the next in the proud line called 'Junkbreath'.

Teddy is the normal name i use. I do entertain the ideas of naming it Ser Frederik the III or perhaps, Le Furball

From the 'dog' codex entry following the Witch Hunt DLC:
What happens to dog if you were the Warden, or the Warden-Commander: "He has returned to your side after some time spent in the kennels in Denerim. Ferelden lost many of its war dogs during the Blight and kennel masters selected your prized hound to strengthen their packs. He has been mated with female hounds from all over Ferelden and has sired several litters of puppies."

So if you do have a dog there is the possibility that Doggy from DA:O could have been the father.
