If IT or "Wake-up" DLC is released, should it be free or paid?

Some "IT"ers just addicted to their theory to much. It's ok, when they are discussing their fan-fic in one centralized thread. But too vocal "IT"ers can provoke nothing, but annoyance.

Don't care. Either way would be fine by me.

Won't happen though. IT died with Leviathan.

Such a dlc won't happen. But if it did, well, it should be Paid dlc.

I think that "IT" died with EC release.

Don't get me wrong. "IT" is a nice joke, but it never was and never will be more than just a fan-fic.

If thats really true then why haven't they moved the IT thread then?

For the record, I'm not IT but I'm not against it either

Some will continue to believe in IT right until the grave.

Just like some people will continue believing that ME3 is a work of art.

The Thread title clearly states IT or wake up DLC...I for one hope that it will be a wake up scene, where it shows that the last part of ME3 is a dream sequence and that shepard just got blasted with rubble .

IT is imo not a valid alternative for spacemagic and is already overused so much that it would be a reall downer if they actually used it.

I am also not saying that they should make an ending that makes everyone happy, but I would like an ending where I am blown away in a positive way and not in teh way I was blown away when I finished the game ( I was flabbergasted at the ending and insulted when the little pop up came up , where it said something like buy more DLC in the future to see more of this ...).

I have never seen an ending of a videogame that has met so much controversy, this shows that
-1- Mass Effect has a large and devoted fanbase
-2- The ending really...really really sucked and made no sense

I think because they did "IT"ers a big favor. Which some "IT"ers don't actually respect, and keep provoking anti-"IT"ers. And such attitude will only help to stop the "IT" discussions in Story forums forever.

I think, that next time large "IT"thread will be closed for off-topic, it will probably become prohibited in Story section. And it will be closed for off-topic eventually like each large "IT" thread before, I believe.

If the IT is true, then the time to reveal it was, like, 5-6 months ago. By now, or a half-year later, probably not enough people are even going to care about ME3.

Well seeing if IT was somehow true (for the sake of this point) it would mean that the game never ended. Seeing that people already paid for a full game I don't see how you could charge for the ending of a game.

But I don't put anything past corporations nowadays.

Only the first IT thread was closed for going off-topic. Chris Priestly closed the rest because they were becoming to big (2000+ pages).

Umm no, the IT threads got locked because they went over 2222 pages. And its not because they did ITer a big favor, if it wasn't a Valid Interpretation then they would have closed it or moved it regardless

No, no, no. Each large "IT" thread was closed for off-topic. The current one even has an official warning/reminder to stay on topic...

...Any way, talking about "IT" as about some possible DLC is just pointless. So the thread about "such DLC cost" is also completely pointless.

Free. I'm not paying $80 for a game, just to pay $10 more for the ending to that game.

But honestly I don't see Bioware coming out 8-9 months after the game's release and saying OK everyone here's the real ending to the game.

What I am interested in is to what the final piece of DLC will be. I mean, it'll be the last DLC for the Mass Effect trilogy. Ever.

It'd be a bit anti-climatic to be just "Cerberus is here. Kill them good."

Crucible history reveal/Fall of the Citadel.

Secret Prothean archive on the Citadel that the scientists who initially sabotaged the Keeper signal left behind. You find out that the Crucible was initially created by the Reapers to inact synthesis. It was modified overtime to include the other 2 functionalities.

In this DLC you'll see all your Citadel war assets in action and the fate of many Citadel characters (Bailey, Aria, etc) will be determined by them.

This would be a pretty damn good DLC.

It should be free (if it hypothetically happened) just to keep bleeding-heart whiners like the one above to a minimum level of butthurt.

Excuse me?

Would you like to be told the ending to a game you actually liked was fake and would be replaced because someone else didn't like it or thought only Destroy should be a valid "true" ending?

Yup. If you fell for something so narratively incohesive then quite frankly you deserve to be tricked (remember that under the hypothetical IT scenario this was Bioware's plan all along, not changes because of outcry). In all likelyhood though this is just plain bad writing and woefully misused plot devices. Yes, destroy or refuse should be canonized because its the only way to set up a sequel that has any hope of staying true to the themes and actually remain interesting.
