i heard you can buy a belt from a merchant that increases your monitary gain. where is the merchant that you buy it from?

I believe i either got it from the merchant in my camp (his name escapes me atm) or from "The Wonders of Thedas" shop in Denerim. It was only 60-90s but to be honest i dont think i really get that much money out of it

also when i steal it just says stealing successful, how do i check to see what i got from stealing?
